Malaysia Haul 2

Please bear with me if I am not updating this blog regularly. I have been very busy. I can only do one blog post a day. If I am not updating this blog, I am updating my food blog.  So if you are a foodie, please have a look at my site.
Continuing my Malaysia Haul:

I’ve been living in shirts and shorts for the past few weeks now because those are the only clothes that fit me (aside from a few dresses)!

IMG_6471

I needed another bag for my hand carry stuff but I ended up checking this in as well. I love the print on this. Plus, I love PUMA bags as they are durable. I have another bag that I bought in Singapore a couple of years ago and it’s still in great condition! It’s funny, I only buy PUMA stuff when I’m abroad..

IMG_6472

Finally found this variant!

IMG_6473
and it comes with a good-sized freebie too!

IMG_6474
I’m positive we won’t be buying shower gels for the rest of the year with this haul!

IMG_6458

I bought so much stuff, I needed to buy another luggage! This is Pierre Cardin. Love that it was on sale.  Love the color too!

IMG_6506

When we went there, I only had 2 bags. One, my trusty Aranaz bag and two, my Delsey luggage. I went home with 4!

Shopping in Malaysia Part 1

On our second day in Malaysia, I started exploring the mall beside our hotel. Good thing the hotel had a connecting door to the mall otherwise I wouldn’t be able to go shopping. I mostly shopped at Guardian and Parkson, the department store. They were having  a Ramadan sale when I went there so I loaded up on toiletries.

But before that, we need some cash:

I was thinking of calling the bellboy to help me carry these to my room but that would require me to go down a flight of stairs so I just walked slowly so as not to aggravate my wound.

My son needs a lot of cotton so I loaded up on these. I bought 4 packs. They were on super sale, cheaper than Watsons here.

IMG_6442

I bought these because of the free toiletries box.

IMG_6443

These went out to my cousins. Cousin C made one box for toiletries and the other for makeup as the cover had a space for makeup brushes.

IMG_6444

Body washes for my cousins, mom and mama. I got the fourth one the following day.

IMG_6445

Nail polish removers. I already tried the blue one once and it looks promising. I will make a separate review.

IMG_6446

Loaded up on hand wash too. The price equivalent is just Php50 for a 500 ml bottle. I bought 6 of these.

IMG_6447

Finally found a refill for the Schick razor that I bought at Watsons. They sell the razor but they don’t have the refills here. Pfffttt…

IMG_6448

I got these for my son. This is from Pigeon. This is the only brand that I am familiar with there.

IMG_6449

IMG_6450

Got this for a cheaper price as well.

IMG_6451

This one is for MB. I got him some Diesel underwear as well.

IMG_6453

These HK tissues are from Guardian. I gave these to my cousins too.

And continuing with the Hello Kitty theme, here’s my pj’s.

That’s it for Part 1. Stay tuned for Part 2.

Photos from My Malaysia Trip

It’s been crazy these past 2 days here in Manila. Heavy rains and floods are what we have been experiencing. I am thankful that I was able to come home before this hit. I arrived home very early Monday morning. I have only finished a few things since then because my little boy wants to be with me almost all the time. I guess he missed me as much as I missed him. Anyway, to start off this Malaysia series, here are some photos.

You gotta have the the cloud photos

We were in a hurry so the photos are not so good.

IMG_6389
Giant Chupa Chups! It had 15 pieces inside. It costs around Php600. It costs more in Singapore!

Crazy traffic outside

IMG_6396
KLCC

We only spent a couple of hours in KLCC because we were catching another flight to Sarawak.

IMG_6397

Love this mall! It was huge and it had a lot of brands that we are missing here in Manila. Plus most of the stuff are priced just right, not too far from the original US prices.

These are some photos of the hotel we stayed in.

The toiletries which my companion enjoyed immensely

IMG_6408

The sink glasses that I avoid after watching that documentary about US hotels and how the housekeepers just use a rag to wipe them. They use the same rag to clean the counters.

I love it when the hotel provides slippers, iron and an ironing board.

There are no photos of the scenery and the outside world. I went there mainly to get some decent sleep and allow my body to rest to recuperate. It was an impromptu trip. I decided to go on a Tuesday and got a flight on Wednesday. I was away for 5 days and I had some glorious sleep during that time. All I did there was sleep, eat and shop! More on my Malaysia trip next.

Oh, if you are interested in the food we ate, please visit my food blog. I will post them soon.

Baby Shopping

It seems that there is no end to our baby shopping…

IMG_6242

More house clothes because the ones that we have don’t fit him anymore.

IMG_6251

I like these blankets. They’re affordable but of good quality. They also don’t absorb spit ups easily so I have time to wipe them off before the blankets get soaked.

IMG_6250

These are all very affordable clothes. I don’t want to buy him expensive clothes because he grows bigger each day and so we have to buy new clothes almost every week.

IMG_6246

I think I already bought all the designs of bibs for boys at SM. I need more!

IMG_6247

I told cousin C I wouldn’t buy him any more socks but the ones that we have here are a bit tight on his ankles already.

One day while we were out shopping, I told my mom that motherhood really changes you. Instead of buying for myself, I buy stuff for him. Don’t worry, I still find time (and the money) to buy stuff for myself so watch out for the new goodies that I bought.
