My mom doesn’t like the packaging of Benefit blushes but I do. I think they’re fun and quirky.
I especially like the brush that comes with each box of blush.
The blushes that I have are Dandelion, Georgia, Bella Bamba and Coralista. Here are swatches:
If you have really light skin, forget about using Georgia and Dandelion. They wouldn’t show up on you. I have fair skin and I still have to put several layers of blush for them to show up. Coralista is a close dupe of NARS Orgasm. I use Georgia and Dandelion when I have heavy eye makeup but still want a little bit of flush on my cheeks. Bella Bamba is great to use on its own – just swipe some lip balm or gloss then you’re good to go. Coralista is a nice every day makeup.
I didn’t experience any allergic reactions to these blushes. Bella Bamba lasts a pretty long time on my cheeks (I have normal-dry skin). Coralista is the same. I have trouble with the lighter blushes as I have to re-apply several times during the day so I would suggest to skip these light blushes if you have oily skin.
I had a bit of a problem opening the Bella Bamba box when I first used it. The cover was connected to the base whereas the others are not. It was so hard to open it. Even MB had a hard time opening it. I peeled off one portion of the label thinking that I should peel it to open it. I was really frustrated. Oh, well. At least I didn’t peel everything off!
These blushes are quite expensive but I can truly say that they are a good investment.
cute ang brushes
ReplyDeleteNice blushes, hope I'll have one of that soon. :)
ReplyDeletespeaking of which, benefit benetint has almost the same wonder as clinique gel blush.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know that Clinique had a gel blush. But if so, then the dupe would be the original Benetint (I presume).
ReplyDeleteI looooove Benefit!!! What I love most is their packaging! LOL
