This was a gift from my BFF Ahne for my birthday this year along with these babies. I have to admit that I was scared to use them right away. First, because I was not familiar with the brand. Second, I have terrible eye allergies when it comes to liners and mascaras.
However, after using the nail lacquers, I was convinced that I needed to try these. I first tried the mascara. It was great. I have long lashes to begin with and the mascara made them stand out even more. I wore it for a few hours to church and the mall afterwards and I didn't experience any itchiness or redness.
I was saving the eye liner for a smokey look but I didn't know when that was so one day, I just used it as I would a regular liner. Wow, I was impressed! It was like using Urban Decay! It goes on smoothly, doesn't cake or break. I smudged it out a little using the other end to make the lines straighter. My worry at this point was raccoon eyes come afternoon. I am happy to report that I didn't have them.
I tried the mascara again and used it for the whole day. Sadly, I developed allergies. So, now I know that I can use it for a maximum of 5 hours without any problems. On the other hand, I have no problems with the eye liner. It's a great product and I am glad it's part of my vanity. It also arrived just in time because my UD liners are getting really short and going abroad to buy them is not in my plans any time soon. So, yeah, thanks Ahne! Love you!
