In my last  Soft Saturday Diaries , I shared our day out buying groceries. Today, I want to talk about reset days — those in-between days where the goal isn’t just rest, but recalibration. For me, a reset day starts with the home. It’s about clearing away the clutter, doing multiple loads of laundry (especially beddings), putting groceries in order, and batch cooking meals so the week ahead feels lighter. [Just like today (as I write this) when I cooked hotdogs, reheated calkag rice, boiled chicken breast fillets, and prepared sinigang all in one go before breakfast.] But a true reset day doesn’t end with chores.   Yesterday was supposed to be piano class, but Teacher mixed up the schedule — and just like that, my family and I suddenly had a double holiday!
