I was eyeing another shade. I fit both and I was surprised that this looked better on me.  That’s an advantage of shopping in person I enjoy browsing online shops. It’s convenient, I can compare products without leaving home, and there’s always something interesting to discover. But given the choice, I still prefer shopping in person. There’s something about being able to see a product with my own eyes that no amount of scrolling can quite replace. Colors, for one. A lipstick that looks like a beautiful rosy pink online might turn out to be much warmer in person. A blouse that appears lavender in a photograph might actually lean toward gray. Even the lighting in a store can change how a color looks, but at least I can examine it from different angles. Then there’s texture. I like being able to feel the fabric of a dress, examine the finish of a notebook cover, or see how substantial a bag really is. We just got back from a week's stay in Baguio. This is our third time there in the last 6 months. It was both work and vacation for me and my family. A few days before going there, I looked for a crossbody bag to bring. When we went there in March, I had a hard time bringing all our stuff. It was just my son and I with my mom and sis. My son can't do a lot of heavy lifting yet. On our first trip, I bought my big tan Charles and Keith bag thinking that I can use it as both my personal bag and shopping bag. I was wrong. It seems that there is a never ending need to shop for baby stuff. Every single day I find things that I need to replace, I need to add more to and just things that I need to have for my baby. Here are things we bought a couple of weeks ago. My doctor told me that I need to buy a carrier because my baby is becoming heavier. He likes to be carried a lot and it takes a toll on my back, shoulders and arms. I can’t have that because I might get sick so yes, I’m a good patient and bought one.
