Welcome to a brand new season here on Glow by Lady E!

The Final Fruit Basket Pantry Ledger Post

🍐 Perfectly Pear-ed: How I Saved ₱2,000 ($34) — and My Sanity — at the Grocery and Some Christmas Finds

I didn't blog yesterday because I was exhausted. Lady Flo came at a time when I needed to finish the book I was writing and these Pantry Ledgers. Then we had to do the groceries because neighboring streets will be closed next weekend for All Saint's and All Souls' Days. And regular Glow Girls know that Lady Flo's visit is my Sacred Rest.  I was already pushing it for 2 days, so I had to stop on day 3 to rest.

🍋 Zestfully Done and Rediscovering Snacks and Saving Money in the Pantry

Today's post is late because I'm exhausted. I've been doing a lot of crafting plus I wrote another book yesterday (more on that soon). Last week, we joined a bazaar and it seems we will have another one in December, so I'd like to get my wares ready for that. Crafting is a lot of hardwork. It takes time to print and bind these Pantry Ledgers together.

Berry Intentional: Because I Refuse to Live on Autopilot

“If it’s not perfect — I don’t buy it.” That’s not just my rule for clothes now. It’s my rule for life. I used to live in survival mode. Every peso, every errand, every meal — all reactive. Whatever was urgent, whatever I could afford, whatever I could grab. I thought I was being productive. I was just exhausted. Now, I choose to live Berry Intentional . ✨ In the Kitchen: A Calm and Confident Plan That’s what The Pantry Ledger is for. This version, Berry Intentional, reminds me that planning my meals is not a chore — it’s an act of self-care. When I map out what we eat, what we already have, and what we need to buy, I’m not just saving money. I’m saving my sanity. No more last-minute panic meals. No more forgotten leftovers. No more spending on the same things twice. Each dish we cook is a choice made ahead , not a reaction to pressure. 👗 In the Fitting Room: If It’s Not Perfect, It’s a No Being intentional doesn’t stop at groceries. This year, I’ve decide...

Grapeful Heart: Notes on Enoughness, Violet Mornings, and Readers Who Stayed

If you’re reading this — thank you. You’ve probably been with me for a while. Maybe you’re one of my quiet readers from Norway, Hong Kong, or Singapore. Maybe you found me recently and stayed for the calm, the color, or the quiet strength. Whoever you are, I'm so grateful you’re here. A Note on the Season The blog has been a little quieter than usual. Behind the scenes, I’ve been reflecting, creating, and moving at a slower rhythm — and yes, there were also some shifts I couldn’t control (hello, Google updates). But even in quieter seasons, there’s fruit. And this season, that fruit is gratitude. Not the Pinterest kind that gets pinned to a vision board and forgotten. But the quiet, weighty kind that reminds you: This is enough. I am enough. And maybe slow isn't bad — maybe it's just ripe. The Color of Gratitude I designed Grapeful Heart in shades of purple because I wanted it to feel rich but restful. Purple is often the color of royalty — but also of introspection. Of s...

I’m Feeling Peachy: A Soft Luxe System for Pretty Productivity (and Saving Food, Too)

If you’ve ever bought groceries with the best of intentions — Only to find half-eaten snacks in the pantry and expired noodles in the fridge — Welcome to the club. But this year, today, I’m saying goodbye to waste, and hello to pretty productivity. Introducing Peach & Quiet — my handcrafted Pantry Ledger system for meals, markets, and soft luxe moments at home. 💕

Everyday Investments: How I Build a Beautiful Life the Soft Luxe Way

✨ 💎 Abundance is More Than Money When people hear the word investment , they often think of money — stocks, savings, and portfolios. But the truth is, abundance begins in the everyday. The way you take care of your body, your space, your energy, and your mindset compounds quietly into a beautiful, abundant life.

The Art of Everyday Glow: Finding Beauty in Small Things

Some days are quiet. Nothing grand happens. No one gives you flowers or takes you to a Michelin-star restaurant. But somehow, you still smile — because  your meal was served on pretty plates, your nails looked beautiful in the sunlight, and you used a new shimmer stick that caught the light beautifully in your mirror selfie. That, to me, is the art of everyday glow. It's not about sparkle or excess. It's about presence. 🍽️ Beauty on a Plate I usually make my own corndogs. But one day, I saw some frozen Japanese ones that were on sale at Landers, and I thought I'd grab it to taste commercial corndogs. I prepped a lot of oil in my small rectangular frying pan and cooked them. I didn't know that they burned quickly! My oil wasn't too hot as I can't place my stove on a high temp for too long as it will have an error. The corndogs just really burned fast.  What did I do? Put them on my Hello Kitty plate, of course! And that changed everything. It still looked p...

The Beauty of the Everyday Bag Swap

Honoring your energy, one bag at a time There’s something quietly luxurious about switching bags depending on your mood or your mission for the day. It’s not about having a massive collection or chasing the next It Bag — it's about listening to your energy and honoring your pace. Some days, you’re a crossbody kind of girl. On others, a structured shoulder bag calls you. I didn’t always switch bags this often. There was a time when I used just one — until I realized that different versions of me needed different kinds of space. That’s when I began practicing my two-bag system, something I mentioned in this previous post — where I carry both a crossbody and a tote for different functions, but with matching energy. ✨ Why I Switch Bags Like I Change Moods For me, switching bags is an act of presence. Some days, I wake up with clarity and structure. I grab a compact crossbody, toss in only the essentials: phone, cards, keys, wallet. I’m light. Focused. Moving with purpose....

Soft Luxe Travels: Marilao - Pampanga - Tarlac - and Back to Bulacan Part 3: Journey Home and Shopping in Bulacan

On the way home, we stopped by a Shell stopover center, so that Kuya Fil can have some coffee and everyone can use the bathroom. However, this place had outlet stores of big brands like Adidas, Skechers, Crocs, Giordano, etc. And you know what that means, right? Shopping!

Soft Luxe Travels: Marilao - Pampanga - Tarlac - and Back to Bulacan Part 2: The Journey to Pampanga

After Rosalie's, my sister wanted to go to the market in Pampanga. However, we got there at 11 am and the stalls were already closed. So, she said that we should have lunch instead. She asked us where we wanted and I said, "let's go to Marquee Mall as I've been wanting to visit that mall for a long time."

Soft Luxe Travels: Marilao - Pampanga - Tarlac - and Back to Bulacan Part 1: Rosalie's

My sister and I had some pressing business to attend to in Tarlac, so we decided to go there one Sunday when she was free.

Soft Luxe Errand Uniform: White Tee, Dark Jeggings, Clean Kicks

Some days, I don't want to dress up. I want to look good and presentable, but I don't want to overthink it. And that's when a "uniform" proves to be helpful.

Soft Saturday Diaries: Slowing Down at S&R, NoBrand, and a Wonderful Dinner at Home

Some Saturdays aren’t for adventures. They’re for strolling down wide aisles, discovering little gems, and coming home to something warm and easy. This was one of those Saturdays — simple, unhurried, and unexpectedly lovely. But first, ✨️ Today's Look Breakdown Eyes: BYS Simply Nude Palette Nails: Golden Cap Oil-Based Nail Polish in Purplish Red Lips: Minimalist 08 Glossy Brilliant 🛒 Aisle Therapy We didn’t plan to buy much, just our weekly water run. but I took pictures anyway — because I’ve learned that even the quiet days deserve to be captured. Here are a few things that captured my fancy: We love this brand and I am eyeing those new tumbler designs. But, I will not buy until the ones we currently use reach the end of their lifespan.  My SIL asked to buy some Rapokki for her. I had to send this all the way to Iligan! She also likes Cheez-It, but her favorites were not available. As for me and my son, we like these Snap'd better than the original. We still have a pa...
