What I’m Keeping Close

Not everything stays. Some things pass through you… used, loved, forgotten. But every now and then— something lingers. Not because it’s loud. Not because it’s trending. But because it made your days softer. Easier. More you . These are the things I’ve been keeping close. 01. My Inabel Skirt This piece isn’t just something I wear. It grounds me. There’s something about the texture, the weight, the story behind it… it reminds me where I come from. And somehow, every time I reach for it, I feel a little more put together without trying too hard. 02. Juttis (My Unexpected Foot Saver) This pair is special.  Handmade. Flew all the way from India.  Bought from the company owner himself. I was already loving it. But when my feet needed gentleness, I fell in love even more. Soft. Forgiving. Still beautiful. Proof that comfort doesn’t have to mean giving anything up. 03. Sewame Hand Cream This one lives quietly on my table. A small squeeze… and suddenly, everything fe...

Soft Saturday Diaries: Part 1 - Mango Edition

It’s been a tender Wednesday, and I don't have the energy for a full adventure recap of my Saturday. So today, you’re getting the part of my day that brought me the most joy: my slow wandering inside Mango. I took photos of pieces that caught my eye — for inspiration, for future outfits, for the soft luxe woman I’m becoming.

The Face Shop Herb Day Cleansing Tissue Review

Shoutout to my beautiful readers in Norway! You were number 1 yesterday! And I discovered something interesting. At 3:36 am yesterday (your time), 19 of you from Norway were reading my blog! I am honored to keep you company during those wee hours in the morning. Whether you were preparing for your day, can't sleep, or just decompressing, I hope you found something useful and inspiring here.  If you’ve ever had to wipe away makeup with a rosacea flare in full swing, you know the stakes are high. I've been using The Face Shop’s Herb Day Cleansing Tissue for about two months now—and I was pleasantly surprised. Even with my ultra-sensitive, flaring skin, this held up beautifully. These wipes are gentle, with a light scent that doesn't overpower. What’s more, the fragrance fades nicely once you rinse your face. I always follow up with my go-to White Seed cleanser and everything feels clean afterwards. This isn’t my first rodeo with the Herb Day line. I used the Herb Day Cleansi...

My Experience with the Laneige Lip Kit

I got this Laneige Dreamy Lip Kit in Baguio. I was looking for a good lip balm for a few months before I discovered this.  The Body Shop Avocado lip balm is not cutting it. I wanted something light and more powerful. While in Watsons SM Baguio, I happened to pass by the Laneige stand. I saw the moisturizer and thought that I might give it a try (more on that soon). Anyway, I also saw this Dreamy Lip Kit and asked the attendant how much it costs. I think it's Php950 (I'm pretty sure it was under Php1000). What a steal for 4 pots! So, I immediately got it and the moisturizer.  It comes in 4 flavors - Berry, Mango, Peach Iced Tea, and Sweet Candy. I'm currently using Sweet Candy. There's no applicator. I use my Bobbi Brown Lip Brush. The container is very good, nice and sturdy and compact enough for traveling.  The texture isn't very thick, which I like. It feels very smooth and easy to apply. After application, I immediately feel my lips calming down. I ha...
