Sunday EOTD

Here’s what I wore last Sunday for our day out in the mall. I used my Stila palette for this look. Copper for the lids and a dark brown shade for the crease and outer V. I used a light shadow to highlight. For my brows, I used my Bobbi Brown kit and MAC Girl Boy. I also used my Too Faced Shadow Insurance as primer and my ELF Concealer/Highlighter duo under my eyes. My skin is so dry that I may have to stop using my cream concealers. Too bad because I have a ton of those! So when my ELF concealer runs out, I will probably buy another brand to try out. I’m eyeing the Revlon liquid concealers. The ELF concealer is too light to hide some spots on my face so I’ll try blending it with my cream concealers next time. By the way, I just saw the ELF Mineral Infused Primer at Beauty by SM. Has anyone of you tried it yet? (I think) I want to try it out after watching/reading some beauty bloggers rave about it.

My EOS Lip Balms

I’m a huge fan of lip balms so of course, I had to had these when they became popular. I was excited about the packaging but that’s it. We carried these at Hyphen and I was so disappointed. There was no quality control whatsoever for these lip balms. Here is my Sweet Mint: A lot of my customers complained about this so I had to exchange several pieces. One woman even went back twice because at both times she got damaged products. We opened the lip balms right away to make sure that she gets a perfect one. We had several unlucky attempts but we got one that was alright. So after my last stock was sold, I never re-ordered. I am currently using this mint lip balm. My lips are so chapped and the mint really hurts. It just does not give a tingling sensation, it really stings! Like I put calamansi (calamondin) on my chapped lips. After several hours, my lips improved and now it doesn’t hurt. This is the lemon variant. As you can see, the packaging becomes very dirty. It’s ...

Sunday Shopping

Oh, how I missed Sunday Shopping! I’ve been stuck in the house forever! Fortunately, I was feeling better last Sunday and so MB and I made a quick trip to the mall to buy a few things. I only went to Forever 21 because everything that I need is there. I got a few pastel camis: I also bought a few assorted stuff: Socks for my travel bag, Etude House Mascara Remover from Beauty by SM, F21 earrings, denim shorts with braided details on the waistband and a surprise buy, a pair of sandals! These are size 6 but they actually fit me and they are so cheap at only a little over Php500! That’s all for this week’s edition of Sunday Shopping. I really enjoyed this haul because I got to pay using my BDO Rewards points! Woot!

A Midnight Affair

Icy Green

I play with my makeup to keep myself from getting bored at home. Here’s a look I came up with using my Isla Sirena palette from Duwop. Tools and how to: For the base, I applied UDPP topped with Benefit Lemonaid. Then I applied Maybelline Color Tatoo in white. I applied MAC White Frost over the Color Tatoo so that I can blend the other colors into it. For the greens, I used my Isla Sirena palette. I applied the lighter green from the center up to the outer corner of my eye. Then I took my slanted eye shadow brush and applied the darker green from the outer corner inwards. For the brow highlight, I just applied a nude matte eye shadow from my DIY MAC palette. I also used the green eyeliner from the Isla Sirena palette for my lower waterline. For the liner, I still used my Kiss Me Liquid Liner and my TBS Big and Curvy Mascara for my lashes. Will I wear this look during the day? Sure, why not? I’ll just keep the rest of my face plain and neutral. Just...
