Soft Luxe Travels: Vigan Day 2: Hotel Breakfast, Palengke, Mr DIY, and 7-Eleven (Part 1)

  There’s something special about waking up in a different city. Day 2 of our Vigan adventure started slow and cozy, the kind of morning where you let yourself savor the little things — breakfast, family chatter, and the promise of exploring new corners of the city. A Slow Luxe Start ✨ Hotel breakfasts always feel like part of the travel experience for me. Even if it’s simple fare, there’s a comfort in knowing that you don’t have to cook — just sit back, sip your coffee (or in my case, water), and ease into the day. It was the perfect chance to gather energy before heading out. We ate pork tocino for breakfast. It was surprisingly good. The tocino in Baguio were always too sweet. This had a balanced flavor of sweet and salty. The pork was very tender and didn't have fat or tough, chewy parts. I had breakfast with mom, my son, and husband.
