How I Wear Green Eye Shadow

Green is my favorite color and a shade of it happens to be the color of the year (emerald). When I want to wear green on my eyes, I usually reach out for my I Dream of Greenie palette from Wet n Wild. Here’s my typical green eye look. Here’s what I used: UDPP Eden for the base. Boi-Ing 1 & 2 as concealers. I Dream of Greenie and Flash of Forest palettes. I only used the cream colored shadow as base. I then applied this shade from my Isla Serena palette on top of the cream shadow base. Then I used the lightest green in the Wet n Wild palette from the outer corner of my eye to the center of my lid. I then applied the lime shade on half of that. Finally, I used the darkest green for the corners. For the highlight, I used White Frost from my DIY MAC palette. I used my The Body Shop Big and Curvy Waterproof mascara for my lashes and my Kiss Me Liquid Liner to line my eyes. Oh, I also used NYX Milk for the inner corners of my eyes. ...

Sorry, my cam is broken so you’d have to forgive these photos. I couldn’t get the colors to show on either camera phones (mine and MB’s). This is the eye makeup that I wore with my outfit in the previous post. Here’s the palette: Photo from Duwop I used this for the base (middle): And the blues and pink: This is the second time I’ve used this palette. The first time was a blur, so that doesn’t count. You have to build the colors. This is not like Urban Decay that you only need one sweep and you’re good to go. But, this has very little fall outs compared to UD. The powder is fine and didn’t irritate my eyes. The color lasted the whole time I was out in the mall (around 5 hours). I think you need to retouch when you reach the 6th or 7th hour. I used Too Faced Shadow Insurance for my primer. This works better on me than UDPP. Then, my T. Le Clerc liquid liner and Shu Uemura mascara. I haven’t used the lippies on this palette.
