  December is beautiful. It's my favorite month. Christmas is my favorite holiday. All the lights, the sounds, the sights, and the smells are just unbeatable. But it can also be loud, distracting, messy, tiring - chaotic.  There's pressure to finish the year strong, to prepare for holidays, to meet expectations. With ADHD, that end-of-year mental buzz becomes overwhelming. In the past, I would ride the chaos like a wave and end up drained by New Year’s Eve. But not anymore. So instead of pushing harder, I lean into preparation that respects my rhythm.

  Hello, dear Glow Girls. It's been 2 days since I last posted.  I won’t go into details, but life has been a little heavy lately — and when that happens, I tend to pour my energy into creating. It’s how I heal. How I make sense of things. And this box is the result of that quiet process.

  I've been pampering myself a lot these past few days, and finding joy in the simple things. (Burn out is real.) One of the things I like doing is applying nail polish on my nails. I used to this a lot when I was younger. I stopped when I became pregnant. It's only lately that I started doing this again. There's just something about colored nails that make me smile throughout the day.  It might sound shallow for some, but if you're like me, who does the work of 5 people every day, my hands constantly washing, cooking, cleaning, creating, a little burst of color lightens the load.  This is a KKV nail polish so there's no shade name. As always, I'm naming it. I call it Enchanted Midnight Dreams.  When I opened the bottle, I had a feeling it was an old stock. You can see the nail polish all over the rim. But the sticker was intact. Hmm.. Anyway, the nail polish wasn't thick or looked old. It was still easy to apply.  A Trick I Learned Remember when this happen...

  There’s something about slipping into a nice dress, doing my hair, putting on perfume, and stepping out like I own the world—even if it’s just for a grocery run. I might be running errands, but I'm doing it in style. And you know what? It made all the difference.

  I was so excited when my BYS Glow Guide, Sarah, texted me to let me know about these BYS Mystery Boxes. I asked what's inside. She sent me a video of a lady unboxing it. I really liked what's inside. It's a mix of makeup. I texted her and said I'd like 4 and then mom wants 2. 

I don't have a solo photo of the pj's because I didn't think I'd blog about it but when I wore it and snapped the photo below and sent it to a friend, I was inspired to write a post about it.  You’d think that at the end of a long day, when I’m exhausted, sore, and just ready to crawl into bed, the last thing I’d care about is what I wear to sleep.

  It’s been a tender Wednesday, and I don't have the energy for a full adventure recap of my Saturday. So today, you’re getting the part of my day that brought me the most joy: my slow wandering inside Mango. I took photos of pieces that caught my eye — for inspiration, for future outfits, for the soft luxe woman I’m becoming.

There’s something magical about the little things we do on ordinary days — the quiet rituals, the tiny upgrades, the small decisions that somehow make life feel lighter. One day last week, it was two things for me: a fresh set of glitter-pink nails and a pantry ledger that’s slowly giving me my time, sanity, and energy back.

  This is Day 3 of our staycation over the weekend at Red Planet Hotel Timog. If you're just tuning in, this is the second time we've stayed there this month. Just a week in between. 

 We continue our staycation series with a trip to SM North.

  We went on another staycation at Red Planet Hotel  last weekend. We were supposed to go to Subic the next day for an event, but it was canceled due to the typhoon.  We decided to just explore the malls in the area. 

  I've been exhausted for weeks - little sleep, constant travels, erratic appetite, tons of backlog posts, production, and crafting.  Not to mention the daily chores and my sudden bright idea to do a Lady E Edit today (more on that soon).  So, this morning, I turned on my relaxing playlist and decided to give my tired skin a little love. I opened a new tub of body scrub that I got over the weekend during our staycation —Bathlux Sea Salt Scrub from KKV. And oh. my. glow. ✨ I wasn’t prepared. The texture? Buttery smooth with just the right amount of grit. The texture reminds me of The Face Shop's White Seed Cleanser . The scent?   Hi, everyone! I was out for a few days because my son and I went on a staycation. I didn't write yesterday because my country was being pummeled by a huge typhoon and it didn't feel right to write about happy, light things when a lot of my countrymen are struggling due to the weather. 

  Last long weekend, my family and I stayed at Red Planet Hotel Timog. 

  I’ve always had a soft spot for teachers. Maybe it’s because I come from a family of educators. Maybe because I have teacher friends. Maybe it’s because I’ve spent so many years teaching myself — from preschool days to homeschool seasons, to Sunday School moments that changed my heart forever.  I promised myself that I will not teach, but I already found myself tutoring at an early age and when my son was born, God put in my heart to homeschool. Years passed and I built a community on Facebook where I was called again to teach the kids online. Guess I can't escape it, huh? Hi, everyone! I wasn't able to blog yesterday because we had back to back to back full days! I'm very exhausted (until now). We spent the long weekend at Red Planet Hotel and then went to Tagaytay on Saturday for lunch. We were supposed to go to Tarlac, but my sister had lots of things to finish so we opted for Tagaytay instead. Anyway, I will tell you more about that in a separate post. I have so much backlog posts to write! Here's one of them.
