PJ Pretty: Why I Still Wear Cute Sleepwear Even When I’m Tired

I don't have a solo photo of the pj's because I didn't think I'd blog about it but when I wore it and snapped the photo below and sent it to a friend, I was inspired to write a post about it.  You’d think that at the end of a long day, when I’m exhausted, sore, and just ready to crawl into bed, the last thing I’d care about is what I wear to sleep.

✨ Glitter, Groceries, and Getting My Life Together — One Page, One Swipe at a Time

There’s something magical about the little things we do on ordinary days — the quiet rituals, the tiny upgrades, the small decisions that somehow make life feel lighter. One day last week, it was two things for me: a fresh set of glitter-pink nails and a pantry ledger that’s slowly giving me my time, sanity, and energy back.

Soft Luxe Staycations: Binondo Series - Shopping at Divisoria and Lucky Chinatown

Welcome to part 2 of my Binondo series! Today, I'll share with you my shopping adventures at Divisoria nd Lucky Chinatown Mall.

Time, Energy, and Money: My Soft Luxe Philosophy on Managing Resources

What comes to mind when you hear the word, "resources?" I bet it's natural resources, right? 😁And you get a picture of trees and nature in your head? 😁 Some people think about money though. But in my soft luxe journey, I’ve learned that time, energy, and money are equally precious currencies — and how I choose to spend them shapes not only my lifestyle but also my healing.

The Medicine of Rest: Why Pausing Is the Truest Luxury

When we hear luxury , the first images are often designer bags, spa days, or expensive vacations. I used to think the same way. But through my own healing, I’ve learned that true luxury isn’t always something you purchase — sometimes, it’s the curated experiences we have, or simply giving yourself permission to stop. 🛡 Rest Is a Medical Necessity My rest is supported by health tools In a world that glorifies busyness, people are praised for running themselves into the ground, rarely for slowing down. But here’s the truth: rest is not indulgence — it’s medicine. With MCAS, a sensitive body, and an ADHD rhythm, I’m built differently. My nervous system burns bright and fast — I can be hyper, strong, and active in one moment, then crash hard when my reserves run out. I enjoy going to the mall tremendously because of the sights, the people, the experience of walking with my son hand in hand, and the new things I see each time I go there. However, even simple things like a 5-minute driv...

From Piano Day to Glow Day

Some days begin in the most ordinary way — errands, routines, and schedules that feel predictable. I got one of those days last week. My son had his piano lesson, and I thought it would be just another Tuesday. But God had other plans — little reminders of His goodness, tucked into ordinary moments. ✨ Today’s Look Breakdown ✨ Lips : MAC Ruby New, Anastasia Caramel, BYS Plump It Peach Perfection Eyes :  MAC Frost Vex, White Frost, Club. Soft Luxe Living: Self-Respect Starts With Your Slippers

We often think of soft luxe as the beautiful, curated things — travel, glow, and indulgent little moments. But sometimes, it’s the smallest, most ordinary choices that truly reflect how much we respect ourselves. One day last week, I found myself slipping in the bathroom. I've been having these very minor slips for quite a while now. I kept thinking that it's the tiles, so I asked my husband to scrub the bathroom floor. As I finished my shower, it occurred to me that the problem might be my slippers. I checked the bottom and... there's was no more traction!  Do you wait for your slippers to literally snap in half before you replace them? I do. But think about it. We shuffle around on worn soles, slipping on tiles, pretending it’s fine because, after all, “they still work.” But worn-down slippers aren’t just uncomfortable — they’re unsafe. And choosing to endure that is choosing to neglect ourselves. I knew it was time to change them, but I was having a hard time! I even ...

Thank You for 64,614 Views in August!

August has been such a whirlwind—quiet moments at home, long days of writing, impromptu travels,  and nights when inspiration finally poured through. But what made it even more special is YOU, my dear Glow Ladies. 💖 Because of your time, your clicks, your reads, Glow by Lady E reached 64,614 views in August . 🌸 And it's only been my third month of blogging, back from a 10-year hiatus!  Every number is more than just a statistic—it’s a person pausing in their busy day to join me in this little corner of the internet, or during a restless night (I see you, my Norwegian Glow Ladies at 3 am!). Whether you’re here for stories, beauty, lifestyle, or just a soft glow of inspiration, please know you are truly appreciated. I started this journey in 2009 with Bits & Treats, and I’ve come full circle to this new chapter with Glow. To see it resonate with readers all around the world is humbling and so encouraging. 🌍 Here's a special thank you to the Glow Girls from the...

14,345 Views in One Day—Thank You, Glow Ladies!

There are moments in this journey that make me pause, breathe, and just feel grateful. Yesterday was one of those days— 14,345 views in a single day. If you've noticed, my URL is bitsandtreats. I started bitsandtreats in 2009 to share the daily bits of my life that I thought ladies like me would find helpful, and the treats that I found along the way that I'd like to share with my readers that I feel would benefit them. I kept the URL as a breadcrumb for my Glow Girls back in the day to follow to our new home - Glow by Lady E. I rebranded to Glow by Lady E with one simple intention: to share beauty, stories, and little luxuries that make everyday life feel softer, lighter, and more meaningful in this new chapter of my life - a mom and a more mature, more refined woman.  Back in 2009, I didn't know about stats and analytics. I was mainly engaging with the local crowd. I had local readers who regularly commented. I didnt know that even back then, I already had a follo...
