EOS Honeydew

I haven’t hit pan on my EOS Tangerine but I stopped using it already as it’s already flat and I’m having a hard time applying it to my lips. I don’t like to use my fingers and I don’t like to get up and get a brush every single time I need to apply it. And believe me, I apply it several times during the day as my lips are terribly dry and chapped. So, I decided to use my last EOS which is Honeydew. I love the taste of this one. It’s a bit sweet compared to the other variants. I just don’t know if it’s effective as the others. I think I mentioned that the most effective one is the Tangerine variant. I guess because it’s medicated. This green one has yet to prove its moisturizing powers to me. I’ve been applying it for a few days now and my lips are still chapped. The dry skin has become a bit soft but not soft enough to fall off or be removed. Anyway, I’m quite happy with this as I only use this at home. I can drink lots of water to help combat my dry lips. I just don’t think I w...

This week, I’m obsessed with…

I was in the hospital yesterday and I’ve also been busy with work that’s why I haven’t been blogging. I received some good news yesterday from my doctors. I can now go out as long as I’m in a wheelchair and only for a short time say, just dinner. It’s still not ideal but I’d take that any day just to end this bed arrest. I am now on modified bed rest and that means I can do a little walking (like going to my mom’s room) and some light activities (cooking with some help from mom or MB). Things are really looking up for me. Anyway, here are the things that I’m obsessed with this week. First is the Sweet Serendipity lotion from Bench. I stopped using this for a while because it’s not appropriate for summer. I am now using this as a hand lotion and it’s just perfect. it’s easily absorbed by my hands so no sticky residue.  I’ve been reaching out for this every now and then. Next is my EOS tangerine. My lips improved last week but now they’re starting to chap again! So I’m usin...

My EOS Lip Balms

I’m a huge fan of lip balms so of course, I had to had these when they became popular. I was excited about the packaging but that’s it. We carried these at Hyphen and I was so disappointed. There was no quality control whatsoever for these lip balms. Here is my Sweet Mint: A lot of my customers complained about this so I had to exchange several pieces. One woman even went back twice because at both times she got damaged products. We opened the lip balms right away to make sure that she gets a perfect one. We had several unlucky attempts but we got one that was alright. So after my last stock was sold, I never re-ordered. I am currently using this mint lip balm. My lips are so chapped and the mint really hurts. It just does not give a tingling sensation, it really stings! Like I put calamansi (calamondin) on my chapped lips. After several hours, my lips improved and now it doesn’t hurt. This is the lemon variant. As you can see, the packaging becomes very dirty. It’s ...

October Cosmetics

As mentioned in my previous post,  I will be grouping my cosmetics monthly so that I will be able to use all of them. If you only knew how much cosmetics I have! I really want to use and finish them all. So I hope I can have good results with this experiment. Here are my October Cosmetics: I know it looks chaotic but don’t worry! I grouped them and took individual photos. Let’s start with the face: I seriously need to finish my Laura Mercier cream foundation (Bamboo Beige). It’s hanging by a thread and I think I only have 3 uses left for this tube. Next is the Palgantong Powder in Pearl Beige. I haven’t used this yet although I have used it on my clients. Let’s see if it can at least live with my acidic face for a couple of hours. This Benefit That Gal primer is also hanging by a thread so I better finish it fast. Next is Benefit High Beam and ELF HD Undereye Setting Powder (to be blogged soon). Lastly, the Benefit Confessions of a Concealaholic kit. This is another produc...
