My Favorite Multitasking Products

I didn’t realize the importance of multitasking makeup until I got so busy with Hyphen and Table E last year. I now appreciate them and enjoy using them even on days when it’s not so harried. Here are my favorites: First is Benefit’s Girl Meets Pearl. This is a highlighter but I used it as a primer before and it gave me that dewy look. I haven’t opened this tube yet because I still have a lot of highlighters to finish. Next is my Pot Rouge from Bobbi Brown. I only used this for my lips but then one day my cheeks were so dry that I needed a cream blush and this turned out to be the perfect shade. I now use it for my cheeks as well. I probably won’t be able to stop praising this Stila One Step. I am almost through with this bottle and I will really miss it once I hit pan. Finally, these two lip and cheek creams from Etude House. They are perfect for everyday use. I think these are limited edition. I haven’t seen any lip and cheek creams from the brand in a while. Oh, I almo...

What’s the least amount of makeup you can wear when going out?

I love makeup and I spend some time getting all dolled up before going out. The only times that I don’t wear any trace of makeup is when I am being rushed to the hospital. Other than that, you will always find me with a touch of makeup on my face. Here’s the least I can get away with: I have pimple marks on my face so I need to apply foundation or at least a BB cream. This is from Etude House and it’s a great product. I made a review of this product if you are interested. Before applying foundation or BB cream, I always apply a primer. I don’t feel comfortable without a primer. But on days when I need to get out the door fast, I just use the BB cream. I also use the Clinique Chubby Stick as my lips are super dry. I don’t need to apply lip balm anymore with this product. When I just have to run an errand or pick up my husband from work, I can get away with just the lip balm. If I still have a few minutes left, I would groom my brows: This is my Bobbi Brown palette and those...

My Favorite Blushes

If you’ve seen my Makeup Collection 2013 post, you’d know that I only have a few blushes compared to palettes. I have no idea why I don’t buy blushes that often but I always go crazy about palettes. Anyway, here are my favorites in my collection. Estee Lauder Rose Nuance This is my first high end blush. It’s not cheap but it’s a good investment. I’ve had this forever and it still looks new. This is a good blush that I use for special occasions. I also use this for my special clients. The monochromatic shade just looks gorgeous on cheeks.   MAC Mighty Aphrodite I think this is the reason why I don’t buy a lot of blushes. This blush is huge and it will take forever to finish! This is a good everyday blush. I always swirl my brush around to get a good combination of shades.  MAC Giggly This is a cute blush that will give you a cute pop of pink on your cheeks.  I normally use this blush when I’m feeling creative with my makeup. Stila Talking Palette EOTD

What is it with this obsession with makeup ads? I think every time I see a makeup ad that impresses me, I immediately drop everything and proceed to take out all my makeup and try to copy that ad. I can’t remember what this ad is (I was mesmerized with the model’s eyes) but here goes: In the ad, the silver shadow used was really sparkly. I didn’t have that shade so this would have to do. Never mind the falsies. I can’t stick them very close to my lash line because I’m allergic to falsies. My eyes turn dangerously red. I only did one eye because, well, I was too lazy. I’m on vacation remember?
