March 2013 Empties

I was only able to finish a few products this March. EOS Lemon Choose Chi Chi Watermelon Body Souffle I finally finished this BBW hand sanitizer. This is from the family in Singapore and it took me a long time to finish this. Well maybe because I leave it in the car and I only get to use it when I’m there. I love BBW products but I can’t just go buying them when Watsons has a BOGO hand sanitizer for only Php49! MB actually finished 2 of these red ones. I had to say goodbye to my beloved T.LeClerc eyeliner. I will buy another one soon. I didn’t bother opening this bottle up. The product will just dry out if I put it in another container. We will no longer buy Aqua Vera Body Washes because my husband does not like them. He says they run out quickly. By the way, if you are interested they are on BOGO again at Watsons. Yes, 2 bottles of nail polish! I’m on a roll with my nail polish collection. I haven’t been buying new ones as I want to finish a ...

Pan

Here are my October 2012 empties: The only thing from the October Cosmetics collection that I was able to finish is the OPI wine red nail polish. Actually, I didn’t finish it but it needs to be disposed of already. The polish was already too thick and it was not drying up anymore on my nails. I’ve also hit pan on my Benefit Confessions of a Concealaholic Kit so I’m quite happy about that. I did not post it here because my Project Pan should be called Project Empties because I need to use up a product before I consider it “Panned”. Next is the Human Heart Nature Sunflower oil. This is an okay product. I used it once on my face and I broke out. I sometimes use it when I run out of Veet oil but I make sure to remove the sunflower oil once my skin relaxes. Oh, it’s a great product to use on hair. My hair is damaged because of the Etude House Bubble Hair and I’ve been using different hair treatments so that I can have a perm again. I applied the sunflower oil to the tips of my hair...

Pan!

Oh, yes, it’s another pan post! I’m so happy that I am finally able to finish a lot of my products. The first tube is the 7-Day Scrub Cream from Clinique. This costs Php1,600 and it lasted for, are you ready for this? 2 years! Yes, 2 years! That is totally worth the price! I use this at least once a week, twice at the most. I found a scrub that works just as well from Etude House but it is currently out of stock. That tube is also running out so I may have to buy another Clinique Scrub Cream. I think I already reviewed this product so if you want to read it, just make a quick search on the search box. Next is the Skin Protec antibacterial hand sanitizer. Nothing special about this but I like it because it doesn’t dry up my hands and it’s cheap at Php49 BOGO at Watsons. Next is the Lip Ice lemon lip balm. It took so long to finish this! I won’t buy Lip Ice products anymore because they don’t work so well on me. They don’t last a long time and sometimes they tend to make my lips...

Pan!

I have a ton of products that I want to finish and in the past two weeks, I managed to finish the ones in the photo above. I already mentioned in a previous post that I like the Belo lotion. I use it not for its whitening properties (which, by the way, I’m not sure is effective because I don’t really care) but because it’s non-greasy and it gets absorbed by my skin fast. I think I use up a big bottle in 2-3 weeks. The next bottle is the old Ellana brush cleaner. This is bigger than the new version. This is my favorite brush cleaner as it is very effective and it smells nice. It’s also very expensive in my opinion. The next bottle is the Watsons Lavender Foot Scrub. I don’t want to spend a lot on foot products but I still want to take care of my dry feet so I use this. This is a great product. It’s affordable and effective. I think it took 2-3 months for me to finish this bottle. Lastly, the Watsons Sakura Bella Body Scrub. Yes, I’m a huge fan of Watsons brand product...

Hitting Pan

There’s something about hitting pan that makes me happy. Perhaps it’s the thought that I got my money’s worth or the excitement of trying a new product or buying a replacement. Whatever it is, hitting pan makes me happy. Credits: Crappy photo, mine. The Face Shop Acne Solution Foam Cleansing from The Face Shop website.

What a way to start the week!

Without further ado, let me present my completed Project 30-Pan: Project 30-Pan   I survived about 1-2 months without buying anything new, just the everyday essentials. My Project Pan works a little different. You see, I hoard products. If I like something, I buy it. If it works, I’ll buy about 5 more in one go. I have several products at home that are waiting to be opened and tested. I do a Project Pan to limit my hoarding and at the same time, be able to use the products before they spoil or something. It also controls the budget. = ) I don’t pick out products to empty. I just use products until I reach the desired number of pans, in this case 30, before buying new stuff again. Here are my finished products: TFS Hand Lotion 3 Monea Curling Lotion 2 Grape Bella Body Wash 2 Grape Bella Body Scrub Nivea Happy Time Lotion Nivea Q10 Firming Lotion Human Heart Nature Strengthening Shampoo Eskinol Calamansi Toner Celeteque Toner 2 Holy Seat GenTeal Eye Drops Nivea Angel Star B...
