I am very picky with bags and purses. Before, I just immediately buy a bag if the color and design are nice. I don’t consider the quality. I didn’t want to spend more than 500 pesos for a bag. But then, the life expectancy of these bags were short. Of course, they were cheap and cheaply made so I had to buy another bag again after a few uses. I thought I was actually saving money because I didn’t buy expensive bags… Until I bought one expensive bag out of impulse and that’s when my love affair with good, quality bags started. Last year, I only bought bags abroad. They are still in very good condition even after days and days of abuse. They are totally worth the price. At the beginning of the year, I discovered Aranaz bags. I got my first piece then I was totally hooked! I got these purses from Hyphen Luxe: Green Rose Purse Old Rose Studded Purse These are Php390 each but I think they’re on sale now at Php350. I’m not a purse person because I just have to bring at least 1/4 of my room in my bag. But I just couldn’t resist these as #1, it’s green (which is my favorite color) and #2, it’s pink and it sparkles! I decided to bring the old rose purse one day to work and see how much would fit inside. To my surprise, almost everything fit! I just had to take my makeup out of the kit and voila! My everyday essentials are in! It was too bulky though but never mind that. I’m happy that I got to use the purse and still had everything with me. Oh, and the straps didn’t fail me! YSL I am a big fan of bags and purses. I used to keep at least 20 of them at a time but now that I’m older (and wiser) I only buy bags that I know will last me a long time. So I gave away most of my bags and slowly rebuilt my collection. Here are some that I’ve recently acquired during  my trip abroad. So, there will be times when I end up not using a bag because I have so many already and I tend to stick to a few bags because of the hassle of organization. Now I know better.   Anna Sui Marc by Marc Jacobs I’m loving the Marc and Anna bags as they are so great with shopping! I gave the YSL bag to mom. I have yet to use the Cats bag. I can’t wait to buy more once this shopping diet is over!
