Soft Life Saturdays: Beauty, Shopping, Curated Purchases, and Holding It Together Part 3 Feat Massive Mumuso Haul

This is Part 3 of this post. Read Part 1 here . Part 2 here .  After buying stuff for my son, I went to Mumuso and got these: This is for my son's music sheets.  We got this fan as a GWP.  S&R After that, we just did groceries at S&R Back Home I was so tired when we got home, but I'm a mom so Mom Crown on. I had to put away all the groceries by myself as my husband received a call from the office.  Then, I washed the dishes from breakfast. I bought this corned beef from NoBrand and decided to just cook it for dinner.  This is the first time we're tasting this. There was a small amount of corned beef in this can. There was a big percentage of it with just lard.  The corned beef is sweet. It doesn't taste like gyudon. It's just corned beef that's sweet. My son and I liked it. (Or maybe we were just hungry? 😆) My husband didn't. He says it's weird because it's sweet. Well, that's why it's gyudon flavored corned beef, bruh. I also heate...

Soft Life Saturdays: Beauty, Shopping, Curated Purchases, and Holding It Together Part 2

This is part 2. If you'd like to read part 1 first, head on over here I forgot to say in part 1 that I went to Charles and Keith to buy a pair of shoes. After lunch, we went to H&M to look for clothes for my son but didn't find any in his size. On the way back to Greenbelt, we stopped by Ayala Museum's free section. They were having an exhibit about water. I told my son that we should go because we once discussed this in our homeschool.  Ayala Museum I love this painting This part, where women and girls carry the burden of water collection in some countries, really struck my online students when we discussed this in Ancient Civilizations. This stayed with them. By the way, if you didn't know, I used to teach the students in my homeschool group online. 😊 If you're homeschooling, drop by Ayala Museum to check out this exhibit. The entrance is on the bridgeway to Greenbelt. They regularly have free exhibits in that part of the museum.  Circuit Mall: Uniqlo and Ske...

(LATE) Haul-Over Wednesday - MUMUSO

This post is late. It's not Wednesday. It's Friday here. I was supposed to upload this last Wednesday, but Lady Flo arrived, so I've been on bed rest.  Without further ado, here's my Mumuso Haul: Nail polish. I love dark and glittery, shimmery nail polish. Makes me feel so luxurious. I'm not sure about the shade of that vegan breathable nail polish though. I got it because I was curious about the "breathable" bit.  How pretty are these??? And it has more than 5 plant extracts to protect nails?! Yes, please!  Rose Cuticle Oil and Aloe Vera Nourishing Nail Polish Remover Pads Vitamin C Gentle Makeup Remover Deep Cleansing Foam Bonus haul from Daiso: Hand-knit Japanese dish sponges. I am loving these! I'll write about them in my food blog soon.  Stay tuned because I'm going on a deep dive with each of these products. Happy weekend, everyone! Any exciting plans? Me, I'm going shopping!  Follow me on Instagram for my hauls: @lifebyladye

These are my only makeup hauls for 2013

Well, as far as I can remember, that is. These are both from Paul & Joe, my favorite brand for foundations. As you may already know, the brand pulled out from the PH some time ago, back when I was still pregnant. I was so disappointed when I went to Rustan’s to buy some makeup from them. Fortunately, they had a super sale in Glorietta so I was able to buy my pressed foundation (2nd photo). That’s a liquid foundation in the first photo. My liquid/cream foundations and BB cream stash is down to the last tube so I needed to buy a new one. I thought about stocking up on them but dismissed the thought because they might spoil because the pressed foundation lasts me a year. Will review the liquid foundation in my next post.

The Body Shop and Baby Haul

I’ve been out for a while because I’ve been super busy. I’m the only who takes care of my baby during the day. On top of that, I have a ton of work and chores to do.  I’ve also been contemplating for a while if I’m going to let this blog die a natural death by not posting anything but the friendships and connections I made here are priceless. So, I will try to blog as much as I can although there will be some changes. I will probably upload more haul posts and put a bit of commentary on each item I buy. It will be hard for me to write product reviews now but I will try my very best to do so. Anyway, I hope you will still come and visit my blog to get information on products and some shopping tips. Here are some items I bought in the past week. On to the TBS haul: I got tons of body wash in olive, strawberry and satsuma. I also got another bottle of the chamomile makeup remover. The bag is a GWP Will I love or hate the Chocomania line? I’m...
