This week, I’ve been savoring moments and items that don’t scream luxury, but whisper it in the gentlest way. From a mundane hygiene product to a treat I couldn’t resist, here are five things making my days softer, warmer, and just a little more luxe. 1 — Miniso Golden Cap Oil-Based Nail Polish I got this from one of our Miniso trips. The thing that caught my eye? The golden cap. Just look at that bottle! I’m not a huge fan of lip glosses but I use them from time to time to give my lips an added ooomph. I also like the moisturizing effect that they give especially when my lips hurt from all that chapping. This is just a highlighter. Nothing special. It’s one of my favorites because I can use this on any shade of lipstick. It’s also a very special item because this is the only thing that I bought and I got tons of GWP’s for it – a bag, eyeshadow palette, tons of samples, etc. So it’s quite special. Revlon Colorburst in Hot Pink. I love strong pink lipsticks. Light pinks are for everyday use but on days when I feel extra glam, I swipe on my strong pink lippies. If there are mood rings, then technology has developed a mood lip gloss and a mood lip balm: I got the NYX Mood Lip Gloss from Sol .  I don't use this very often as I am not a huge fan of lip gloss. But this is very useful when I'm out on bazaars (outdoor bazaars, that is).  I like using lip stains and the gloss gives the lip stain a boost. The lip gloss lasts for a fair amount of time. It also leaves a nice pink stain on my lips after I've wiped it off. It sometimes gives me dry lips so I make sure to pile on lip balm before applying it. It doesn’t make your lips plump up instantly but because of the collagen, moisture gets locked in making your lips healthier. The shine also gives an illusion of plumpness. I personally did not see/feel any difference. I think it’s just regular lip gloss. Or maybe I’m just not paying enough attention plus the fact that I don’t use it everyday.
