There was a big percentage of it with just lard.  The corned beef is sweet. It doesn't taste like gyudon. It's just corned beef that's sweet. My son and I liked it. This is gonna be a picture-heavy post so I might break it down into 2 or 3 parts.  I spent last Saturday shopping with my family. Of course I had to apply makeup before going out. And this was the perfect time to try out my new BYS Queen Bee palette!  BYS Queen Bee Palette Review Let's unbox it, shall we? A closer look at the eyeshadows: I used Hive Mind, Dew, Sweet, and Pollen for this look.  I used my NARS Primer  on my lids before applying the eyeshadows. They're very pigmented and blendable.  The palette is sturdy as it's a tin can. The mirror inside is wide and clear. The pink part that houses the eye shadows is plastic though, and feels flimsy. But I guess this is a more environment-friendly type of plastic. That's BYS commitment to the environment.  The only shade I won't be able to wear here is Lush. I’m still on a shopping ban. I’m really trying hard to control myself. I only buy necessities. MB was kind enough to take me shopping one Sunday afternoon. Before I start with the haul, here’s some Hyphen love: These are infinity bracelets that come in the above colors plus black and white. They are Php100 each, available at Hyphen PBCom, 7F. On to the haul: These are bathroom slippers from Japan Home Center which we use in our bedroom. I think we’ve gone through every single color that they have. MB and I usually share one pair but it’s getting inconvenient so I bought two. We really like these slippers from JHC as they are cheap and last a long time. I also got him a washing bag for his shoes, comb hair scissors for me and a Hello Kitty pill box. The scissors are okay for Php88. I cut my bangs every now and then that’s why I got this pair. I was stuck in the house for several days because of the flu and I couldn’t wait for Sunday because I was planning to do some serious shopping. The problem was, most of the things that I wanted to buy were out of stock! Pffttt… But at least I was still able to buy a few things. My last pair of Havaianas broke about 2 weeks ago. It was the pair that my best friend A gifted me about 3-4 years ago. It was also my last pair of rubber slippers that I use at home. I had several pairs before both Havaianas and Ipanema. They broke one by one and my oldest pair remained. I still have one pair of Ipanema’s in the car which I don’t remove. I’m using cheap slippers at home but they are a bit slippery. My mom saw them and told me to buy a new pair. I told her I was waiting for Havaianas to go on sale so that I can buy 2 pairs. Luckily, Havaianas was on sale last Sunday! I thought my stockpile would last me until the end of the year but it’s only November and we are using the last bottle of body wash. Our stock would have lasted but I forgot to take into account my sister. She uses our body wash when hers run out. So I went to Watsons with mom to get some more stocks. Aside from the BOGO offer, I used my coupon to get further savings. I just bought a bunch of necessities – shower gels, wet wipes, Charmee feminine wipes, hand sanitizers, toothbrushes and foot scrub. I couldn’t resist the new Hello Kitty products so I got the lip balms and the hand lotion. If you look closely, the hand lotion includes a Hello Kitty charm that can be removed and used for your phone or purse. The best part is they are all just 99 pesos each! In this transaction, I saved Php418! I love shopping at Watsons because I not only satisfy my need to shop, I also save money in the process.
