Watsons is on sale again and that means I need to stock up on some of our essentials. MB and I are on a tight budget as we have a lot of things going on. We finally found an apartment and it’s not the size of shoebox, thank God! That’s just one of our concerns right now so we are keeping a close watch on our budget. It’s fortunate that we ran out of body wash the same time Watsons is holding a sale. I saw in their Facebook page that they had one brand of body wash on sale for only Php99 at BOGO so I definitely had to have it. We went to SM as I thought they had plenty of stock there. I don’t spend a lot on foot and leg products but I try to take care of my legs and feet by regularly using products that will help soften or moisturize them. I saw this tube of cooling leg gel at Watsons one shopping day. I decided to get it as it was 20% off. It costs a little over Php100. Watsons products continue to amaze me. This one works like a charm. The gel is really cool. Actually, if I put too much and sit in front of the fan, my legs get too cold and I need to put them under a blanket. I’ve recently noticed dark veins on the back of my knees and I am concerned about developing varicose veins. I hope by continued usage, this product will relax my legs and my veins. I apply this after I take a bath at night on days when I go out during the day to help soothe my tired legs. My legs instantly feel relaxed after a quick application and light massage. MB needed a few things from Watsons so I took the opportunity to “save”. I still have a few Php50 coupons so I got a few Watsons brand items. That was the first purchase which is not pictured here. In the first purchase, I saved about Phph119.50. He forgot something so we came back. Seeing as he was buying another Watsons item, I added a few more to make the total Php300 so that I could use another coupon. For the second transaction, I saved 90 pesos so that’s a Php210 total savings today! I got the Watsons Foot Ease Refreshing Foot Spray and the Watsons Stretch Mark Minimizer. The others are just wet tissues and hand soaps. By the way, the foot spray was on sale that’s why I had an extra savings of 20 pesos. I have a ton of products that I want to finish and in the past two weeks, I managed to finish the ones in the photo above. I already mentioned in a previous post that I like the Belo lotion. I use it not for its whitening properties (which, by the way, I’m not sure is effective because I don’t really care) but because it’s non-greasy and it gets absorbed by my skin fast. I think I use up a big bottle in 2-3 weeks. The next bottle is the old Ellana brush cleaner. This is bigger than the new version. This is my favorite brush cleaner as it is very effective and it smells nice. It’s also very expensive in my opinion. The next bottle is the Watsons Lavender Foot Scrub. I don’t want to spend a lot on foot products but I still want to take care of my dry feet so I use this. This is a great product. It’s affordable and effective.
