I am not a huge fan of SM. I only go there to buy some of my son's stuff that no other department store carries. Today was an exception. I truly enjoyed today's sale. What's not to enjoy as everything is 10% off. If you are a SMAC or BDO Rewards card holder, you get an extra 10% between 10 am to 12 pm. If you use your BDO debit card, you get a 3% rebate, more if you use your BDO credit card! I was able to buy a few things. I stocked up on our toiletries which were on sale too. Aside from those, I got my niece this set of pambahay or lounge wear to sound sosyal. I got my son an extra pair of swim shorts as we are going swimming for a few days. I got him this box of crayons. I regret buying only one as the discount was super! The other one is a crayon sharpener. I had this when I was a kid. I think it's still here somewhere but I wanted my son to have his own. I’m obsessed with building my bag collection because a few months ago I decided to sell/giveaway almost all my bags. Now, I’m starting anew with black bags. I also think I’m getting obsessed with black bags. Kashieca Black Bag I went inside Kashieca Greenbelt one Sunday afternoon and saw this bag. I wanted to buy it but I was having doubts. You know me, I can be pretty cheap at times. The bag costs Php998. Then the SA said that it’s the last one and that they only have one per color delivered to each branch. I don’t know if that’s true or not but that was the push I needed. I immediately bought the bag and used my Bench Loyalty points so I got a Php200 discount = Php798. Yay! This bag fits everything! It fits Coco too and all her accessories. There are also several compartments inside so I don’t lose things. I tried using my Beabi bag organizer but I just suck at it. I love SM because of my BDO Rewards Card. I just love shopping there to accumulate points and then using the points to shop some more! Heck, even my boss loves the points system! I've even mapped out my shopping list strategically to get the most out of my card. Everything that I can buy from SM, I buy at SM. I especially love Watsons. I buy all my cosmetics and toiletries there. But I do most of my grocery shopping at Landmark because it's cheaper there. Hey, I may love to shop but I'm also a smart shopper. I love bargains that are useful and worth the trip/money/effort. I don't just buy because something is on sale.  And speaking of sales, don't you just love SM's seasonal sales and year-round promos? I love their buy one, take one promos at Watsons and the occasional discounts. This is what Migraine Boy bought for me on our date - pair of butterfly earrings and a cellphone charm in the shape of a black stiletto with "diamond" studs. Love it! The earrings cost 99.75 while the charm costs 79.75 at the Kid's Department. This is the brown blouse from HB that I mentioned in my earlier post. The original price is 479.75 and I got it for only 383.60. Just look at that bead detail: (Darn, crappy camera) The detail is beautiful, trust me. I also bought a pair of Chesca shoes. I love Chesca shoes because they last for a loooong time even if I use them everyday and they're so comfy! I like the fact that the heels are stable. That's the first thing I look for when buying shoes. I should be able to run in them in case of emergency. Chesca shoes are affordable - P700 and up, 299 and up when they're on sale.
