If there are mood rings, then technology has developed a mood lip gloss and a mood lip balm: I got the NYX Mood Lip Gloss from Sol .  I don't use this very often as I am not a huge fan of lip gloss. But this is very useful when I'm out on bazaars (outdoor bazaars, that is).  I like using lip stains and the gloss gives the lip stain a boost. The lip gloss lasts for a fair amount of time. It also leaves a nice pink stain on my lips after I've wiped it off. It sometimes gives me dry lips so I make sure to pile on lip balm before applying it. Here are swatches: This is over Revlon Just Bitten Lip Balm. You can actually see the gloss change color if you apply it over a lip balm. This one below is just the gloss solo: It's a nice pink shade, perfect for teens. On the other hand, we have the mood lip balm.
