Celebration

I was supposed to wear this combo back in June to celebrate my son’s birth. Actually, I had planned to wear all glitter back in June but I didn’t have the chance to do my nails so it’ s only now that I’m rocking them.

Summer Colors

These were my planned nail varnishes for April but I was not able to use the orange Sephora. These are China Glaze Sunshine Pop, Sephora for OPI, Chanel Mimosa, BK orange, China Glaze Lighthouse. I have a love-hate relationship with Mimosa but I still want to try other shades from Chanel. I won’t be buying nail polishes any time soon as they don’t fit in my vanity anymore. Maybe if I finish 5 more bottles this year then I will try the Dior ones. For May, I’ll be wearing neutrals.

October Cosmetics

As mentioned in my previous post,  I will be grouping my cosmetics monthly so that I will be able to use all of them. If you only knew how much cosmetics I have! I really want to use and finish them all. So I hope I can have good results with this experiment. Here are my October Cosmetics: I know it looks chaotic but don’t worry! I grouped them and took individual photos. Let’s start with the face: I seriously need to finish my Laura Mercier cream foundation (Bamboo Beige). It’s hanging by a thread and I think I only have 3 uses left for this tube. Next is the Palgantong Powder in Pearl Beige. I haven’t used this yet although I have used it on my clients. Let’s see if it can at least live with my acidic face for a couple of hours. This Benefit That Gal primer is also hanging by a thread so I better finish it fast. Next is Benefit High Beam and ELF HD Undereye Setting Powder (to be blogged soon). Lastly, the Benefit Confessions of a Concealaholic kit. This is another produc...

I Love This!

I’m loving this nail polish shade right now. This is Hey Sailor from China Glaze. This was available at Hyphen but for some reason, people were ignoring it so I just got it for myself. It’s a very bright, cheery red. Cheery is not reserved for yellows in my dictionary. I’m having a ‘blah’ day so I decided to paint my nails while taking a break from work. I’m not quite sure if I’ve already blogged about this but it doesn’t matter. I’m loving it right now!

New Year Nails

My first NOTD for the new year: Courtesy of: OPI Blue Shatter and China Glaze White Cap By the way, I’m having a blog sale of my nail polish as I have a huge collection already (and also, I want the extra space to buy some new ones! LOL). I’m also selling my ELF 100 palette. If you’re interested, please check out www.thehyphenstore.com . Thanks!

Colors that we love

My older sister is a bookworm. She just likes to study. She’s not obsessed with kikay stuff like I am. My cousin R is like my sister. Sure she likes to be pretty but not to the point that she would spend a lot on beauty and fashion stuff. Now R’s younger sister C, is just like me. We are both obsessed with kikay stuff. School’s out so we’ve been hanging out a lot. Last weekend we went to Market, Market! and checked out some stuff at Etude House. She became obsessed with the glitter polish and I told her I have one exactly like the silver one she’s wearing, only it was the Bieber polish in Make U Smile. So when we got back home, I applied China Glaze Ahoy on her nails and topped it off with Make U Smile: I was wearing China Glaze Lighthouse: This is what I’m wearing now: LA Girl Matte Red (available at Hyphen ) We’re going back to Etude to buy the glitter sets. We’ll be sure to post the photos when we do.  Isn’t it great to have a kikay sister?
