Holiday Fridate Part 6: Venice Grand Canal Mall at Night and Miniso

This part of Venice always has the most people. People like taking their photos on this bridge.  We stayed at Venice for a long time because there were a few shops I wanted to visit and they were located far from each other.  But I got to experience it at twilight and eventually when the sun has decided to rest from our part of the globe.  I love pretty lights that’s why Christmas is my favorite holiday. All those lights adorning the streets and malls are so beautiful at night.  I passed by this sleeping cat on my way to another store. I left the boys at the food hall so that I can do my shopping fast.  The cat was in front of Texas Road House.  Seeing the collar on the cat, the mall must also have a policy on cats like Ayala Malls. Ayala Malls protect the stray cats in their area. They are vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and well-fed.  My next stop was Miniso. I hardly go to Miniso ever since their branch near me closed.  I was happy to find it here...

Holday Fridate Part 3: Venice Grand Canal Mall - Flying Tiger

Quick Update Hello, Glow Girls! I’ve missed you! A lot has been going on in my life lately. I have another big order, so I’ve been working in the atelier. Then Lady Flo visited, and you know how I take care of myself when she’s around. Just type Flo on my search bar and you’ll find several articles on my slow soft luxe lifestyle when she’s around.  I was also tasked to be in-charge of an ebook that’s gonna take about 18 months to develop. But for now, my priority is getting that huge order out by Sunday.  Anyway, let’s continue this series.  After Power Plant, we went to Venice! In Taguig that is. 😆 And what do you know? The first store that greeted us was… Flying Tiger!! But the front display shelves were empty! 🤣 Hey, why didn’t I pay attention to that straw tote?? I wanted to buy those small pumpkins, but no space to display them  The autumn collection is really nice! Also wanted to buy these houses, but again, no space!  The lamps were $8 while the ...

Holiday Fridate: Power Plant - NBS, Healthy Options, Fully Booked x Kinokuniya

It was a holiday last Friday. I was supposed to stay home and do some work. My husband also had to have the car fixed. But when I woke up, he said it was already fixed as he left early.  So, I changed my plans and asked him to go out.  At first I only wanted to go to Power Plant.  On the way there, we passed by The Oakwood.  The birdcages near the infinity pool were very popular back then when the hotel first opened. I believe you can sit inside while you lounge by the pool. They’re beautiful. But from my view: Metro Manila cable spaghetti! 🤣 We also passed by my old school, Ateneo.  I took photos of the escalator from parking.  I showed the beautiful mood lighting to my friend.  Of course Power Plant thought of making your experience a pleasant one the moment you enter.   I looked up and click! Our first stop was NBS.  I saw this copy of The Art of War and thought how pretty the cover was. There are other classic titles in the same p...
