Soft Saturday Diaries Part 2: Marks & Spencer

If you're just tuning in, this is Part 2 of my Soft Saturday Diaries. Here's Part 1.

Marks & Spencer

After Mango, I went to M&S to buy something. But of course, I didn't stop there. I went to the toiletries section (that I love) to check out a few things and then to the food section.

How adorable is this scented candle?!

I was debating whether to get this, but decided not to as we still have a lot of snacks at home.

Advent calendars! When my son was younger, we always did Advent calendars when December rolled around. But my version didn't involve sweets.

These are new to me. I didn't know that M&S carries cereal now! And those milk and choco hazelnut pillows have caught my eye. Maybe I'll try them next time. We don't eat a lot of cereal at home.

We've been shopping at M&S since I was a kid, but I never looked at the clothes even as a young adult. They're just too big for me! But now that I've filled in, I was giddy to look at the clothes.

Here are a few things I'm gonna do a closer look of (maybe even try on) the next time I go there. Clothes weren't my goal that day, that's why I just took photos to remind me what to try on next time.

And yes to that black dress, too!

I really wanted to try this, but thought that I haven't even worn my new navy blue button down yet. Next time.

This mustard shirt is the first thing that caught my eye, but I got the green instead. I'll come back for this color. I like a good mustard shirt. These shirts are comfy when traveling.

It looks like this on the mannequin,

Look how gorgeous their holiday carriers are! I always look forward to M&S' holiday carriers. They're always beautiful. I immediately took this picture after paying at the till and sent it to my mom. She loves their holiday carriers, too!

Charles & Keith

My day wouldn't be complete without dropping by my favorite bag and shoe store.

I am loving that red bag, but I already have a burgundy bag. Maybe next time.

One of these bags went home with me. ❤️

The fur strap is cute. And I showed the photo to my bestie. But we both agreed that they'd be really ugly when they get dirty. 😆

But, who knows? I may not be able to resist that gray one! 😆

I had to leave the red bag, but this pair of shoes did come home with me

Stay tuned for Part 3 of my Soft Saturday Diaries.

Soft Luxe Staycations: Binondo Series - The Great Buddha, Curated Purchases from Eng Bee Tin, and Last Thoughts About Ramada

After buying a lot of stuff on the first floor, we headed upstairs to eat a light lunch. Mom was getting hungry. My son and I just ate, but we said that we will accompany her and will just order something light.

All About Eyes

Lately I’m finding myself obsessed with skin care products, prevention in particular. I'm not getting younger and nobody likes lines and wrinkles, right? I should have done this in my early twenties but those were hard times and we didn’t have enough to support our daily lives, let alone vanity splurges. So now, I’m on hyper mode. I did not place any expectations on this product. I’ve had it with products claiming they can do this and that. I just tried the product thinking that if it works then great, if not then I’ll just find a new one. I wasn’t expecting a dramatic change but 2 weeks into using this product, I noticed that my under eye area has become lighter. The lines are also not as deep as they were before I used this product. I stopped using the Garnier eye products because I’m allergic to them so that means I’m not using any whitening products for that area. I am truly impressed with this product. I didn’t take a before and after photo as I wasn’t expecting this at ...

When You Need a Tiny Reset (Glow Cards Are Here)

The shade is actually a dusty mauve or muted orchid. It looks blue on the image, but it's not blue.  There are days when I don’t need a full day off — I just need a moment. A tiny reset. A quiet pause in the swirl of noise. That’s how Glow Cards were born.
