New from Whisper

Whisper is our (Cousin C and I) favorite brand of feminine pads. We’ve been spending a lot of time together at home and in the mall. Watsons is one of our favorite stores and we buy most of our toiletries there including feminine products. We were there last Sunday to buy some stuff. They had new deliveries and I spied some nice things in one bin. Because we are chismosa, I got one and asked the staff if they were ready to be sold. She said yes so I told her we will get three of these: Sparkly kits They come in black, purple, blue and pink. Cousin C got the black one. I got both the black and purple one. One kit includes: One pouch costs a little over Php100. This was really a good buy.

Clinique Happy Body Smoother

I forgot that I had this lotion. This is a part of a gift set I bought a long time ago. I am only using this now. Obviously, the scent is Clinique Happy. The first time I used this, I was truly impressed. It made my super dry arm smooth. You can still see my “scales” but when I touch my arm, it feels smooth, not dry. The effect also lasts the whole day. The scent does not, though unless I layer it with the perfume. I’ve been using it for a few days now and I can see and feel the results. Too bad there is only a small amount of product in the tube. It’s not filled to the brim, just around 3/4. I believe this is a special product that they only put in gift sets. If it becomes available again, I won’t repurchase as I still have a ton of lotions to finish!

Mega Shopping

Yesterday, Cousin C and I went to the mall to do some baby shopping. The original plan was to stick to SM and buy everything from there. Well, I guess plans are made to be broken. Here’s what we got for the little one: Some wash cloths and a latex pillow. My son spits up a lot so he needs to sleep on an angle. He was already using the pillow when we took photos of our haul. Some blankets that we use to cover his “bed”. This is his bed by the way, courtesy of Dad: It’s’ also inclined to prevent him from throwing up a lot. Some home clothes because he is growing up so fast. It’s crazy how his current clothes don’t fit him anymore. Some going out clothes for his next doctor’s appointment. Bibs to keep his clothes clean. It’s crazy how many times we change him during the day. More bottles because he feeds a lot, well just until I can breastfeed him again. Finally, I got him this rocker. We need to entertain the little one to prevent him from gett...

Baby shopping and some Hyphen Love

MB  did a bit of shopping over the weekend and came home with these: MB has been spoiling the little one lately. I guess fatherhood changes you. I’ve never seen my husband this way. I have no complaints. I’m a very happy wife. = ) I also did some hauling of my own: I’m having a hard time fitting into some of my clothes so I’ve been wearing mostly shorts when I go out. This top will go well with them. I also got these shawls. I’m counting the days until I get healed completely and be able to go back to my normal routine and that includes shopping!

July 2013 Empties

This is already too flat. I don’t want to use my fingers or a brush to apply this so I’m chucking this. The gel liner has hardened up. Since my son’s birth, my views about life in general have made a 360 and I’m learning to prioritize even more, be more focused and get rid of things that don’t benefit me or make any sense in my life. That includes makeup and stuff. = ) The gel liner was an expensive item but I don’t feel bad that I threw it away. I won’t repurchase it, by the way. We do a lot of sanitizing here so it’s no surprise that I easily finished this . I’m happy that I was able to finish some makeup this July. I have a few more that are nearing pan and I have my fingers crossed that I’ll be able to finish them in August.
