Bath and Body Works Cotton Blossom

I took advantage of the Bath and Body Works sale and got a few things. This is one of them:

This is Cotton Blossom shower gel. I think this is the first time I’m trying BBW shower gels. Unfortunately, I only used this once. I don’t like the smell. It smells nice, don’t get me wrong but it reminds me of Sampaguitas. I don’t know the English word for it. Google translate gives me tulips. They are not tulips. They are little white flowers that are strung together to make a lei and is usually offered to images/statues of Christ, Mary and other saints. I don’t like the smell of said flower so I gave this to MB. At least I’m not with him for several hours during the day and by the time he gets home the scent would have faded.

The scent stays a bit on the skin but it’s gone once you sweat. It says on the label that it moisturizes. I will test that out on my next bottle but it didn’t leave my skin dry so I have my hopes up. I will finish my VS shower gel first before I move on to the next one.

    Hi! Great post! I love the smell of sampaguitas but I wouldn't want to wear it as a perfume too, or shower gel for this instance. Haha! Anyhooo, can you recommend any BBW fragrance that has a fresh and out-of-the-shower smell? Something which smells like shampoo and freshly-laundered cloth? :D

    Hi Hanny! I'm not familiar with their scents/perfumes/body sprays. I've only used a few BBW products and most of them are lotions. So far I haven't encountered that scent you are looking for. I'm actually looking for something similar as well and I was hoping Cotton Blossom would smell like fresh laundry that's why I bought it. Will keep on looking though! = ) Maybe I will find something in my loot.

Soft Luxe Travels: Day 1 - The Journey to Vigan Part 1

In this post, we will start our journey to Vigan! The Night Before After packing our things, I did a few things for myself to help me relax and decompress so that I can sleep. Holiday State of Mind

  Sometimes, a quick escape is all it takes to reset the spirit. Tagaytay always gives me that holiday state of mind… Even a short drive can feel like a retreat when your heart is ready to embrace rest. My son successfully finished his recital last Sunday and as a reward, my sister treated us to Tagaytay yesterday.  Getting Ready for the Trip I decided to use my BYS Golden Hour Palette for today's look. Makeup, for me, is part of the ritual—it sets the tone that today is special. Here are the swatches: From top to bottom: Polaroid, Candid, Aperture, In Focus, Portrait, Panoramic In Focus is slightly wet, like something between a liquid and cream eyeshadow. The color is gorgeous! I love Panoramic, too!
