I am not a huge fan of SM. I only go there to buy some of my son's stuff that no other department store carries. Today was an exception. I truly enjoyed today's sale. What's not to enjoy as everything is 10% off. If you are a SMAC or BDO Rewards card holder, you get an extra 10% between 10 am to 12 pm. If you use your BDO debit card, you get a 3% rebate, more if you use your BDO credit card! I was able to buy a few things. I stocked up on our toiletries which were on sale too. Aside from those, I got my niece this set of pambahay or lounge wear to sound sosyal. I got my son an extra pair of swim shorts as we are going swimming for a few days. I got him this box of crayons. I regret buying only one as the discount was super! The other one is a crayon sharpener. I had this when I was a kid. I think it's still here somewhere but I wanted my son to have his own. I'm really happy he chose the green one as green is my favorite color.  I g...

I started collecting mugs late last year. Here’s what’s new in my collection. On the left is the Cath Kidston Stanley mug from my SIL. The right one, of course, is from Starbucks CDO.

Last February, my family and I spent a few days in CDO and Iligan. I did some last-minute shopping and ended up with these. I wanted to buy a few new toys to keep my son busy during the trip. Matching Phineas and Ferb dining set. My son is on a Spiderman kick so I got him a bunch of Spidey items. These are still in my gift closet. I always buy cars for him. Aside from Spidey, he also likes Lightning. He already knows the alphabet but I bought this set of alphabet cards for an activity. These are to be given away as gifts. I bought this number puzzle set and brought it to the province. I also brought this bubble set which was a hit! Finally, these are for my journal. This haul was from National Bookstore and Waltermart.

I had my hair keratin treated late last year. My stylist suggested it because he didn’t want to curl my hair. It’s still very thin due to post-pregnancy changes. I needed to maintain my new hair style so I tried this line from OGX. These are shampoo, conditioner, oil and treatment. I use the shampoo and conditioner every day. I use the oil before blow drying my hair. As for the treatment, I use it once a week. I purchased the trial pack first just to make sure that I won’t get an allergic reaction. Luckily, I didn’t! I have these in full sizes as well. I bring these small ones whenever we travel. This is a great line that does its job well. I only need to blow dry my hair and it looks like I just went to a salon. I will definitely stick to this line as long as I want to maintain my straight hair.

I visit American Bazaar weekly. This is a past haul as there’s nothing new in their stores lately. Coloring and activity books for my son. Some are to be given away as gifts. That’s a writing pad on the far left. I haven’t really tried this Rinso magic sponge yet but I’ve read mixed reviews. I’m keeping the microfiber set in my stockpile. I don’t use these wipes on my son. I use them for spills and cleaning up. I change my son’s toothbrush twice a month. These are easy to toss out as they are cheap. We use the magnifying glass for our activities. It’s not very powerful though. I always have some tape around. I hate running out. Never mind this. I read it wrong.  I’ll find a use for it someday. Gorilla Glue is my favorite super glue. I’m so glad I found it at AB! We haven’t opened this set yet. Hmm… Maybe I’ll take it out this long weekend. American Bazaar is one of my favorite shops. They sell a wide range of products. Not all products are great but after so many hauls, I’ve learned which products will work and which won’t. Here are some of my finds. I have several of these zip lock bags on steroids. They are very useful when organizing my son’s toys, old clothes, etc. My son loves crayons – to use for coloring and for hiding. He keeps them buried in different places. For those instances, I give him these cheap crayons. For coloring, Crayola is still my brand of choice.   My son loves to eat a variety of foods with every meal so this plate is great. Aside from that, it has 2 of his favorite characters on. My son loves the Minions and this shampoo and conditioner smells great. We bring this when we travel. My son loves Hot Wheels and Matchbox.
