Lust Smokey Eye

I used the Wet n Wild Lust palette that’s why the title has the word “lust” in it. = )

I used all the shades on the left side plus a bit of shimmer on the bottom shadow on the right to top the look. This isn’t a “clean” smokey eye. I was just testing out this palette. Plus I wasn’t really in the mood to apply makeup as I think I did this at 11 pm.

I was very impressed with the Wet n Wild palette. For 500 pesos, I get 6 very fine, very pigmented shades that can give me day or night looks. When I swatched it the first time at the SM counter, I was already impressed but I wasn’t expecting it to perform this good when I actually apply it on my lids. The colors are easy to build  and they blend well with each other. Fallout was minimal. And for something this affordable, I was surprised that it didn’t make my eyes itch. But then again, I only had this on for a few minutes. I’ll find out soon enough.

Another thing that I like about this palette are the matte shadows. I’m trying to find a good matte palette as I lack these in my traincase.  I plan to get all the palettes in this line.

I will post more EOTD’s using this palette. Next time, I’ll use the glitter shadows.

    I want the neutrals, do they have a pink palette?

    no i don't own one yet, but even if M doesn't want me to spend, I STILL WILL. BWAHAHAHAHAHA~


    It's funny purple is always associated with the word lust. I can't wait for the other wet n wild reviews~

    @Kitten: Then we must go shopping so that I can write more reviews! I think it's just blue, neutrals, purple and there's another one... Can't remember.

Alone Time

My good friend Kitten and I were supposed to go out yesterday but she had some unexpected things come up. I needed to buy some stuff as I am packing for a trip and so I went alone. Soft Luxe Travels: Day 1 - The Journey to Vigan Part 1

In this post, we will start our journey to Vigan! The Night Before After packing our things, I did a few things for myself to help me relax and decompress so that I can sleep. I'm a night owl and not used to waking up early nor sleeping early, so I have to be strategic.  I painted my nails that night after all my chores, so that the nail polish wouldn't chip.  However, I forgot that I needed to make pressed sandwiches for our breakfast the following day!  Because really, what’s a road trip mom without freshly painted nails and a last-minute kitchen hustle? 😂 So, I had to do a lot of washing and hoped for the best that my nail polish will not chip! Holiday State of Mind

  Sometimes, a quick escape is all it takes to reset the spirit. Tagaytay always gives me that holiday state of mind… Even a short drive can feel like a retreat when your heart is ready to embrace rest. My son successfully finished his recital last Sunday and as a reward, my sister treated us to Tagaytay yesterday.  Getting Ready for the Trip I decided to use my BYS Golden Hour Palette for today's look. Makeup, for me, is part of the ritual—it sets the tone that today is special. Here are the swatches: From top to bottom: Polaroid, Candid, Aperture, In Focus, Portrait, Panoramic In Focus is slightly wet, like something between a liquid and cream eyeshadow. The color is gorgeous! I love Panoramic, too!
