Glow hit 1 Million Views!

I started Glow in 2009. Then I stepped away for 10 years to focus on raising my son. 💕 This year, I came back. And just four months later, we’ve crossed 1 million all-time views. As I type this, we're at 1,037,075. Thank you, everyone, for your continued support. It's an honor to be a part of your daily lives.  Glow didn’t die when I paused. She simply waited for me. And now she’s alive again — brighter than ever, because of you Glow Girls around the world! ✨ Thank you for reading, for visiting, for being part of this journey. From here, we’re only going higher. 💎 With much love, Lady E

How I Infuse Luxe Into Ordinary Reset Days

In my last  Soft Saturday Diaries , I shared our day out buying groceries. Today, I want to talk about reset days — those in-between days where the goal isn’t just rest, but recalibration. For me, a reset day starts with the home. It’s about clearing away the clutter, doing multiple loads of laundry (especially beddings), putting groceries in order, and batch cooking meals so the week ahead feels lighter. [Just like today (as I write this) when I cooked hotdogs, reheated calkag rice, boiled chicken breast fillets, and prepared sinigang all in one go before breakfast.] But a true reset day doesn’t end with chores. It’s also about resetting myself — body, mind, and spirit. After all that physical work, it's only right that I reset, too.  That’s where my pleasure pauses come in, little rituals that make the day feel less like a checklist and more like a gift. 💅 A Fresh Set of Nails I don't bother cleaning the edges as they come off when I wash the dishes. 😆 Once the heavy...

Ritual Over Routine: Why I Choose Flow in My Days

There was a time when my life revolved around long to-do lists, endless rushing, and the constant thought: “I still have so much to do.”  As a matter of fact, I say it out loud several times a day! It felt like I was always racing against time, yet never really arriving anywhere. And the constant repetition that I still have so much to do adds pressure and stress.  After a bout of colds ,  I've decided to choose differently. I’ve learned that rituals—not routines—bring me back to myself. They slow me down, center me, and remind me that life isn’t about running out of time but about creating space for the things that matter. Instead of long lists, I focus on three to five meaningful tasks each day. The rest of my energy is reserved for my rituals, which have become my quiet luxuries. ✨ Nourishing Morning Ritual Energy Omurice, a favorite in our family My mornings begin with a hearty breakfast—sometimes simple, sometimes grand but always filling, and comforting. I used ...

Rainy Day Bracelets: Crafting Beauty, Crafting Self

It was one of those afternoons when the rain poured endlessly, tapping on the windows like a metronome. Instead of feeling gloomy, I found myself reaching for my old bead boxes—the same beads I once used when I designed jewelry under my brand La Rue des Bijoux . Years have passed since then, but in that moment, the rhythm of the rain and the quiet indoors felt like the perfect time to create again. Why I Made These Bracelets Reclaiming Myself For years, I poured everything into my son and the household, leaving little for myself. Accessories, fashion, and self-expression took the backseat. Making these bracelets was my way of reclaiming a piece of me—the part that loves beauty, polish, and detail. Using What I Already Have These beads aren’t just trinkets; they’re high-quality, collected from years of passion and craft. A lot of them are semi-precious. Letting them gather dust would be wasteful. Instead, they’ve found new life, woven into pieces that fit my current Soft Luxe ...
