Dear Darling Eye Shadow in Lavender


I have mixed feelings about this eye shadow. It's not as pigmented as I'd hoped it would be. It doesn't last long. But it lasts longer than the local made ones. It's gentle enough for my sensitive skin and eyes. The packaging is great. It locks securely into place. This shade is PP994 if I'm not mistaken. This costs P148, I think.

Here's how it looks like on my skin.


That's the only thing I applied. It took me about 3-4 swipes before I got this enough color on my skin. Hmmmm.. Not very economical, yes?

I'm not sure if I'll repurchase. I'm planning to buy palettes instead of single pot eye shadows for convenience and cost.

    I have this shade though I don't use it as an eyeshadow, but as highlighter and it works great :D

      That's a great idea! Now why didn't I think of that? I guess that's because I was still new to makeup when I bought this. Thanks for tip Kirin!

All About Eyes

Lately I’m finding myself obsessed with skin care products, prevention in particular. I'm not getting younger and nobody likes lines and wrinkles, right? I should have done this in my early twenties but those were hard times and we didn’t have enough to support our daily lives, let alone vanity splurges. So now, I’m on hyper mode. I did not place any expectations on this product. I’ve had it with products claiming they can do this and that. I just tried the product thinking that if it works then great, if not then I’ll just find a new one. I wasn’t expecting a dramatic change but 2 weeks into using this product, I noticed that my under eye area has become lighter. The lines are also not as deep as they were before I used this product.
