Life Updates and Exciting Projects

Hello, Glow Girls! I was absent for 2 days because life has been catching up from the holidays and I'm busy creating new products.

Life Updates

I've been doing a lot of online shopping for my crafts studio. I bought some tools as some regular clients are asking about new custom made stuff.

One day last week, a very dear friend of mine scolded me for not giving my wrists proper support. I'm basically typing the whole day. The lack of support has been causing some costochondritis pains and scapula pains. So, I bought a wrist rest. Unfortunately, it won't fit on my table so I had to rearrange my desk and that led to rearranging under the desk and behind the desk, too!

After that, I got  bit by the organization bug, so yesterday ended up as a Lady E Edit day! I switched our art cart with the book shelf in my workspace, so I can put all my machines in the cart. I did a lot of heavy lifting, purging, organizing, but there's still a mountain of stuff in the hallway. I am happy though that I was able to set aside a lot of things for donation to one of my ministries, Tala, where they have a feeding and literacy program for the SPED kids of people who collect recyclables to sell them. I've been supporting this ministry for years.

Coquette Beginnings

Here are the notepads that are part of my January line - Coquette Beginnings.

I already have stickers and notebooks for this line, but I'm expanding it. I will have more products in the following days and I'll be sure to share them with you.

Glow Girl Wealth Tracker

Now this one is what I'm most excited about. I'll tell you more about it soon, but there will be 3 variants/themes to choose from.

This one is for the theme, "For the Queen Who Celebrates Her Wealth." This is basically a me theme. Well, for one, I was named after one of the greatest queens in history. Second, green is my favorite color.

The pouch on the cover photo above is part of this collection. I was testing out sublimation settings and I'm glad I got it right on my second try. I didn't want to waste pouches as I ordered these from the US!

I will be making more products for my January collection for the rest of the week, so if I'm not around, know that I'm creating magic for all of us. Please amuse yourselves with the archive and my food blog.

'Til my next post,
Stay soft. Stay strong. Stay Glowing.

Soft Luxe Staycations: Binondo Series - The Great Buddha, Curated Purchases from Eng Bee Tin, and Last Thoughts About Ramada

After buying a lot of stuff on the first floor, we headed upstairs to eat a light lunch. Mom was getting hungry. My son and I just ate, but we said that we will accompany her and will just order something light.

All About Eyes

Lately I’m finding myself obsessed with skin care products, prevention in particular. I'm not getting younger and nobody likes lines and wrinkles, right? I should have done this in my early twenties but those were hard times and we didn’t have enough to support our daily lives, let alone vanity splurges. So now, I’m on hyper mode. I did not place any expectations on this product. I’ve had it with products claiming they can do this and that. I just tried the product thinking that if it works then great, if not then I’ll just find a new one. I wasn’t expecting a dramatic change but 2 weeks into using this product, I noticed that my under eye area has become lighter. The lines are also not as deep as they were before I used this product. I stopped using the Garnier eye products because I’m allergic to them so that means I’m not using any whitening products for that area. I am truly impressed with this product. I didn’t take a before and after photo as I wasn’t expecting this at ...

Alone Time

My good friend Kitten and I were supposed to go out yesterday but she had some unexpected things come up. I needed to buy some stuff as I am packing for a trip and so I went alone. I actually enjoy going out alone as much as going out with girlfriends or MB. It gives me a chance to eat whatever I like to eat and explore new restos. It’s also nice to take my time when shopping. After paying my bills, I had a late lunch at Toast Box: I love Hainanese Chicken. I sometimes cook this dish but it’s too tedious so I settle for eating out. I’m so happy that there are now restaurants that serve proper Hainanese Chicken. Well, except that one above was sooooo bloody. It was swimming in blood when I pulled the meat apart so I had it changed. You know what Gordon Ramsay says, bloody chicken is poisonous. This is the second time I ate at Toast Box and in both times, the chicken was so bloody. After lunch, I started shopping. First stop was Beabi where I bought these: The Sakura thermos on...
