My New Favorite for Travel-Ready Curls

When we extended our staycation unexpectedly, I found myself running out of hair products. Thankfully, I spotted this adorable Spēs Soft Fluffy Shampoo Travel Set at KKV. I bought it out of necessity, but oh my—this has now earned a permanent spot on my list of must-haves.

Why I Bought It

I picked this up because we were extending our trip and didn’t have enough shampoo and conditioner. I had no expectations, but Spēs has always stood out to me among KKV’s beauty brands. I've tried other products under the brand and they didn't disappoint. This one came in a pink box and promised soft, fluffy hair with camellia and collagen—two ingredients I know my curls love.

This set includes:

Camellia and Collagen Shampoo (for silky and fluffy hair)

Camellia and Collagen Conditioner

Washing-Free Hair Spray (which I haven’t tried yet)

Each bottle is 50ml—perfect for travel. The scent is beautiful: fresh, clean, and not overly sweet, which is rare for travel minis.

Real-World Test

Back in the hotel, I didn’t have a comb in the bathroom. Usually, this would be a problem for curly hair like mine. My stylist’s assistant always reminds me to comb my hair while the conditioner is soaking, or I’ll end up with tangles and knots.

But this time? Zero tangles. Not even one.

That has NEVER happened before—especially not with a travel-sized set. The shampoo and conditioner combo worked like magic. My curls were soft, defined, and tangle-free. That alone makes me want to stock up on full sizes.

Final Thoughts

I haven't tried the dry shampoo yet, but I’m already sold on this line. The shampoo and conditioner exceeded expectations—both in scent and performance. If you're heading out for a trip and want something reliable for your curls, this is the set to get.

Alone Time

My good friend Kitten and I were supposed to go out yesterday but she had some unexpected things come up. I needed to buy some stuff as I am packing for a trip and so I went alone. Soft Luxe Travels: Day 1 - The Journey to Vigan Part 1

In this post, we will start our journey to Vigan! The Night Before After packing our things, I did a few things for myself to help me relax and decompress so that I can sleep. Sometimes, a quick escape is all it takes to reset the spirit.
