A While Back - How I Celebrated My Birthday: KKV Ayala Park Triangle Mall Food and Homeware

Of course, my birthday won’t be complete without a trip to one of my favorite stores, KKV!

I’m going to break this down into 3 posts, alright? I took so many photos and I don’t want the browser choking.

Let’s talk homeware and food in this post.

I had to photograph these cups. They remind me so much of Cath Kidston merch! Team Black or Team White? I’m leaning towards black.

These Snoopy glasses are so adorable! I had to stop myself from getting some! But I think I’ll eventually will. These are great for a Peanuts themed party, though!

There weren’t a lot of new homeware at KKV. I already showed you the ones that caught my eye in my old KKV posts.

Food

Now these cup noodles are interesting. I wonder if they’re any good. I’m partial to Nissin instant noodles and Shin Ramyun Shrimp.

Has anyone tasted these? Please let me know in the comments if they’re spicy, sour, basically how they taste like.

Lots of Snoopy cookies! I got that one with Snoopy’s house. Will let you know how it tastes like in my food blog. Stay tuned for that.

Oh, how I’d love to try these teas, but I’m very sensitive to teas. These are great for Mother’s Day gifts though.

Now these sugar cubes below got me interested. Unfortunately, I can’t try any of them as I’m very sensitive to herbal blends.

That black sugar is good for hormonal health. You can take it before and after periods.

These are fruit jellies. And not just cheap jellies. These are high quality. The numbers on the packaging say how much fruit juice is infused. Now I’m kicking myself for not buying any!

I’m getting some next time! And then I’ll write about it in my food blog.

That ends my food finds at KKV. Stay tuned for the next part where I show you my beauty finds.

How’s your Monday, Glow Girl?

Soft Luxe Staycations: Binondo Series - The Great Buddha, Curated Purchases from Eng Bee Tin, and Last Thoughts About Ramada

After buying a lot of stuff on the first floor, we headed upstairs to eat a light lunch. Mom was getting hungry. My son and I just ate, but we said that we will accompany her and will just order something light.

All About Eyes

Lately I’m finding myself obsessed with skin care products, prevention in particular. I'm not getting younger and nobody likes lines and wrinkles, right? I should have done this in my early twenties but those were hard times and we didn’t have enough to support our daily lives, let alone vanity splurges. So now, I’m on hyper mode. I did not place any expectations on this product. I’ve had it with products claiming they can do this and that. I just tried the product thinking that if it works then great, if not then I’ll just find a new one. I wasn’t expecting a dramatic change but 2 weeks into using this product, I noticed that my under eye area has become lighter. The lines are also not as deep as they were before I used this product. I stopped using the Garnier eye products because I’m allergic to them so that means I’m not using any whitening products for that area. I am truly impressed with this product. I didn’t take a before and after photo as I wasn’t expecting this at ...

When You Need a Tiny Reset (Glow Cards Are Here)

The shade is actually a dusty mauve or muted orchid. It looks blue on the image, but it's not blue.  There are days when I don’t need a full day off — I just need a moment. A tiny reset. A quiet pause in the swirl of noise. That’s how Glow Cards were born.
