Soft Luxe Travels Day 2: The Road to Baguio and the Christmas Fair at Burnham Park

Hello, Glow People! I was out for two days because we've been going out and when we get back to the hotel, I'm completely wiped out. But today, I decided to stay in so that I can update you about our Soft Luxe Travel.

Day 2 started early at 6 am. We were going to Baguio!

I kept my makeup very simple - just a light eyeshadow using my BYS shimmer stick. As for the rest of my face, just foundation to cover the redness and rashes.

I've had this Goodyear jacket for years, but only found the perfect time to wear it now!

I love all the details of this jacket.

The Road to Baguio

The Philippine Arena is my anchor. When I see it, I know that I'm outside Manila and that my journey has truly started. On the way back, it's a reminder that I'm close to home.

I like taking shots of mountains and wide plains.

They make we want to exhale, to let go of a breath that I didn't know I was holding onto.

Almost there!

Our first stop was hotel 1. We were booked in separate hotels. I had to wear my glasses to sign some papers. I just woke up in this photo. Kuya Fil is such a good driver that for the first time, I was able to sleep on the zigzag road going up to Baguio.

It was only 12:50 pm. My sister wanted to stop by at the hotel as she had some questions. She told me to leave our luggage there, but I told her no. I had a feeling that we shouldn't. I told her to just trust me. She said okay.

After that, we ate lunch at Central Park Restaurant. You can read about it here

We went to hotel 2 afterwards so that the rest of the family can check in. After that, we headed back to hotel 1. As we approached the hotel, I got a call from front desk asking if they could transfer us to their other branch, the one where the rest of my family was staying. My mom was thrilled! We said yes immediately. I told her that we were just pulling over in front and that I will go in and talk to them personally. They gave us our deposit back and called the other branch to let them know that we're coming.

And that's why my intuition was telling me not to unload our things at this hotel. 😊

Quick Hotel Snapshots

Lots of space on the counter, plus we had a fridge! Yay for cold water 24/7!

Our usual closet setup

Christmas Fair at Burnham

When we passed by Burnham earlier, I saw the many rides and booths that were installed. I even saw a replica of the Eiffel Tower! I was so excited, I wanted to go, but our hotel was too far from the park. Fortunately, we moved to the hotel very close to Burnham and we were able to experience the park that night!

It was 16 degrees Celsius in Baguio, but I was feeling hot! Blame it on the hormones. I removed my jacket (but still brought it with me, just in case) and just wore my cami to the park.

Get ready for a wonderland of photos!

There were plenty of booths with different themes and merch. This one sells anime-related things.

I love the bags, but they're a little too juvenile for me.

If I was in my 20s, I'd pick that white cat bag, the piano beside it, and probably that black gaming console.

This booth was designed to be like Wonka Land.

Stay tuned for part 2! This post already has so many photos! See you there!
