Bags I’m Crushing On at H&M Right Now – Part 2 (Fresh Finds You’ll Want to Grab Before They’re Gone)

The second I stepped into H&M last Saturday, I knew the bag game had shifted. Something about the textures, the silhouettes, the “take me home” energy of these bags whispered to me. If you loved Part 1, you’re about to get heart-eyes all over again. These aren’t just bags—they're personality pieces. Statement-makers. Crushes. And yes, one of them made it all the way home with me (but I’m saving that for the end!). Let’s go shopping together, shall we?

💼 Bags I’m Crushing On Right Now

1. The Luxe Red Structured Bag

At first glance, it looks like a designer bag. Just look at that structure! The color is chef's kiss for me. It adds an instant pop to neutral outfits. It's roomy enough for Glow Girl essentials. This isn’t just a pop of red — it’s a pop of main character energy.

Why didn't I bring it home? No zipper! And here's my problem with no zipper bags.

2. Black and Beige Lock Bag

It looks sophisticated and polished. You can even take this to the office. It can go from weekday to weekend depending on your outfit. This is great for cafe dates, quick errands, or mood-boosting selfies.

It’s the kind of bag that says, “Yes, I’m organized — but make it chic.”

I'm not a huge fan of those kinds of locks that's why I didn't get this either.

3. The Round Handle Woven Bag

This structured bag is retro but modern. It's neutral chic that you can style in multiple ways. And can we talk about that sculptural shape? That in itself is a conversation starter. She doesn’t need to explain her taste — this bag does it for her.

It looks like something you can get from Kultura.

Why didn't I take this home when I'm waxing poetic about it? You guessed it! No zipper!

4. The Stockholm Suede Effect Tote

Talk about understated luxury with this bag. It's minimalist but it has that presence that makes one go for a second look. This is perfect to bring for errands or as a weekend bag for those weekends where you're staying with your man. Just pop in some clothes, your toiletry and makeup kits and you're all set to spend a weekend getaway in the city or out of town. The kind of tote that holds your essentials — and a little bit of your fantasy life too.

5. The Disco Sequin Bag

Of course there has to be a glitter bag in this post, right? I love glitter and shimmer and when I saw this purse, I immediately thought, "Well, hello! I'm taking a photo of you."

Obviously this is for parties and dinners and events where you just want to sparkle. Imagine being in an all-black outfit and then pop this purse on your wrist.

But you know what my first thought was when I saw this? Prom! This is perfect for those prom dances. Imagine those sequins reflecting the dancefloor lights. Beautiful!

This is not an everyday bag - but maybe it should be? 😁
Darling, glow isn’t reserved for weekends. Let them wonder where you’re going.

6. The Beige Amour Paris Tote

I guess by now you can tell that I love totes. Well, how can I not? I live in a city where plastic bags are banned! We have to carry our own totes when we shop. And I refuse to carry just any other tote.

This tote gives soft, beachy vibes. It's very wearable whether in the beach or in the city. Think of summer lunches, Sunday strolls in the Farmers' Market. It’s giving sun-warmed skin, salty air, and one too many peeks into your tote from admiring eyes.

It comes with red, too! I actually couldn't decide which one to get!

7. 👜 The Brown Amour Paris Tote  — The One That Came Home

I already saw this tote in one of my H&M runs. I took a week to really think about it and decided that I really wanted it. So it went home with me last Saturday. Good thing I didn't impulse buy though. I got this on sale ($14)!

It was love at first carry. It's lightweight, breezy but feels expensive. The cashier asked me if I wanted a paper bag for this, but I asked him to cut the tags. He said, "Oh, you're using it already."

Some bags you carry. Others — you wear like a declaration.

🛍️  Bag Soulmates Exist

The best kind of crush? The one that turns into something real—something you actually bring home. And while every piece in this list was a contender, one stole my heart. Whether you're in your clean girl era, coastal glam phase, or simply need a style refresh, H&M’s current collection might just surprise you. So… which one’s calling your name? 💌 Comment below or tag me if you grab one—I’d love to see your picks!

Soft Luxe Travels: Day 1 - The Journey to Vigan Part 1

In this post, we will start our journey to Vigan! The Night Before After packing our things, I did a few things for myself to help me relax and decompress so that I can sleep. I'm a night owl and not used to waking up early nor sleeping early, so I have to be strategic.  I painted my nails that night after all my chores, so that the nail polish wouldn't chip.  However, I forgot that I needed to make pressed sandwiches for our breakfast the following day!  Because really, what’s a road trip mom without freshly painted nails and a last-minute kitchen hustle? 😂 So, I had to do a lot of washing and hoped for the best that my nail polish will not chip! Luncheon meat, eggs, Kewpie Trust me, it tastes better than it sounds at 11 PM while trying not to chip your polish. That night, we also tried the Ube Halaya from Amira's. This was from our trip to Tagaytay . I'll try to make a review of this on my food blog . With everything prepped, I finally let myself drift off—half excit...

Alone Time

My good friend Kitten and I were supposed to go out yesterday but she had some unexpected things come up. I needed to buy some stuff as I am packing for a trip and so I went alone. I actually enjoy going out alone as much as going out with girlfriends or MB. It gives me a chance to eat whatever I like to eat and explore new restos. It’s also nice to take my time when shopping. After paying my bills, I had a late lunch at Toast Box: I love Hainanese Chicken. I sometimes cook this dish but it’s too tedious so I settle for eating out. I’m so happy that there are now restaurants that serve proper Hainanese Chicken. Well, except that one above was sooooo bloody. It was swimming in blood when I pulled the meat apart so I had it changed. You know what Gordon Ramsay says, bloody chicken is poisonous. This is the second time I ate at Toast Box and in both times, the chicken was so bloody. After lunch, I started shopping. First stop was Beabi where I bought these: The Sakura thermos on...

Holiday State of Mind

Sometimes, a quick escape is all it takes to reset the spirit. Tagaytay always gives me that holiday state of mind… Even a short drive can feel like a retreat when your heart is ready to embrace rest. My son successfully finished his recital last Sunday and as a reward, my sister treated us to Tagaytay yesterday.  Getting Ready for the Trip I decided to use my BYS Golden Hour Palette for today's look. Makeup, for me, is part of the ritual—it sets the tone that today is special. Here are the swatches: From top to bottom: Polaroid, Candid, Aperture, In Focus, Portrait, Panoramic In Focus is slightly wet, like something between a liquid and cream eyeshadow. The color is gorgeous! I love Panoramic, too! Polaroid is a bit chalky and not as pigmented as the shadows in the Queen Bee Palette.  Here are the face shades: Highlighter: Illumination Contour: Ambiance I haven't tried Illumination yet, only Ambiance. I used it on top of my BYS Bronzer. It's a buildable powder, a littl...
