I Made Something From This Feeling
I didn’t stop at the painting.
I thought I would.
I thought that once I put it all on canvas, once I let it move through my hands and out of my system… that would be enough.
But it wasn’t.
I finished painting and just sat there for a moment.
Still.
Quiet.
Listening.
And the feeling was still there.
Not heavy anymore.
Just… alive.
I didn’t give myself time to overthink it.
I didn’t question it.
I didn’t ask if it made sense.
I just followed it.
So I cleaned up the paint.
Put everything back.
And then I pulled out the machines.
At 11:30 PM, I had these.
Same feeling.
Different form.
No breaks.
No “I’ll do this tomorrow.”
No hesitation.
Just a quiet certainty that I needed to keep going until it was done.
And this is what came out of it.
I didn’t plan this.
I didn’t sit down and say, I’m going to turn this into a product.
I just… couldn’t stop creating.
There’s something about not interrupting the process.
About not pausing to ask if something is “worth it” or “good enough” or “sellable.”
About trusting that when something real shows up…
you move.
Last week, I wrote about being treated like background noise.
About becoming clearer instead of louder.
Then I painted it.
And now…
I made something from it.
Not because I had to.
Not because it was strategic.
But because the feeling didn’t end on the canvas.
It wanted to exist in the world.
So I let it.
And maybe that’s what I’m learning now.
That when something moves through me like this…
I don’t contain it.
I don’t delay it.
I don’t question it.
I follow it.
Until it has a form.
And then I let it go.
