A Pair of Earrings and A Charm

This is what Migraine Boy bought for me on our date - pair of butterfly earrings and a cellphone charm in the shape of a black stiletto with "diamond" studs. Love it! The earrings cost 99.75 while the charm costs 79.75 at the Kid's Department. This is the brown blouse from HB that I mentioned in my earlier post. The original price is 479.75 and I got it for only 383.60. Just look at that bead detail: (Darn, crappy camera) The detail is beautiful, trust me. I also bought a pair of Chesca shoes. I love Chesca shoes because they last for a loooong time even if I use them everyday and they're so comfy! I like the fact that the heels are stable. That's the first thing I look for when buying shoes. I should be able to run in them in case of emergency. Chesca shoes are affordable - P700 and up, 299 and up when they're on sale. It's worth an investment. Just skip a few lattes and you've got a pair of shoes that will last you for years. Not kidding. Mine are mo...

My Paris Loot

This is my whole "Paris" loot. I bought shoes from Chesca, a cellphone charm and earrings from SM courtesy of Migraine Boy and a few other things that you already saw. I also bought a blouse from HerBench which was on sale. The "chop-chop" versions next.

"Switch to Swish"

I don't like using mouthwash as they hurt my gums, my tongue, practically my whole mouth! I've tried all those big names plus the one that claims to not have alcohol. I can't remember the name. It was okay at first but then I noticed that it had a really bad after taste. It tasted like chemicals were inside my throat. It got especially bad when I burped. There was even a time when I became so paranoid that I thought that I was sick or something. I stopped using it and the weird taste left but only after a few weeks of stopping. Then came Swish. It claims to not have alcohol as well but it still stings a little. It's tolerable, don't worry. It doesn't have a weird aftertaste and doesn't taste bad when I burp. It leaves your mouth feeling fresh for hours. Even Migraine Boy likes using it. We now have a bottle at home and one bottle in the office. I will definitely stick to this product. As a matter of fact, I'll be buying another bottle again tomorrow. ...

Celeteque is on Sale!

So sorry for the bad pic. I can't figure out my camera! Did you know that Celeteque is on sale at SM Makati/Watson's? They're 50% off! After more than a decade of being loyal to Pond's, my face broke out. I thought it was because of the steroids I'm taking but when I decided to give Celeteque a try, all the rashes and the zits stopped popping out. So now, I'm switching to Celeteque. Maybe it was Celeteque's welcome gift to me. I bought about 6 boxes of celeteque. When I like a product, I hoard like crazy especially if it's on sale. This 100 ml bottle costs only P56. Happy!

I Bought the Eiffel Tower!

And it only costs 88 pesos! I bought this one Saturday afternoon when we were at the mall. Bought it at, you guessed it! Japan Home Centre. I am fascinated with everything French (and Japanese) because of so many reasons. You will know those reasons soon enough. This was fun to build with Migraine Boy. The only thing I hated about this was the color. It was like burnt sienna. I don't have any intentions of putting this back again inside the box. I'm planning to use it when we move. Now it stands beside my headband rack.

First Of All..

Lately I've been experiencing tons of stress from work, from my illness and other personal issues and the only thing that keeps me sane is, well, shopping! I've been a very spoiled kid up to my teenage years until my mom lost her job. I would just like to make it clear that I am spoiled but NOT a brat. When I had the opportunity to earn a lot and go on shopping sprees again, she had a heart attack. So I've been on a shopping diet for the last 8 years I think. Actually during this 8-year hiatus, I've lost interest in shopping. Buying only what is needed. Buying new clothes when I run out and believe me, I still have clothes in my closet from 5 years ago, and yes, I still use them. I guess shopping to me is a happy pill. Though I still can go on without it. Until I find another way to amuse me, I'll be sticking to this brand of meds. So I'm making this blog to document the bits and pieces of my life that I find interesting, helpful, fun, uplifting and what have yo...
