Hi, everyone! I'm sorry I've been away for so long. I've had many things that needed my utmost attention. It's also the start of summer and my urticaria has come back. I am covered with huge wheals all over. I've seen a dermatologist the other day and was put on meds. I pray that this will work as I don't want to undergo any more tests. If you have chronic urticaria, I'd appreciate some tips and advice. So, let's talk about these Essence makeup that I got some time ago. My favorite among these is the All About Roses eye shadow palette. The shadows are super pigmented. They last the whole day. They are even better than my Stila palettes and for a fraction of the price! I just use a good primer such as UDPP or the one from Too Faced. I also like the All About Matt powder. I used it on my sister when I did her makeup for her party. She stayed shine-free for a long time in spite of the heat. I rarely use this on myself as my skin is too dry nowadays....

There was a big percentage of it with just lard.  The corned beef is sweet. It doesn't taste like gyudon. It's just corned beef that's sweet. My son and I liked it. I’ve been in so much stress for the past month and a half and I promised myself that I would go retail therapy last weekend. So I did. Saizen and Etude House hauls I got a few things from Saizen, Etude House and Watsons. From Saizen, I got the organizers which I will use for my wedding gig this coming weekend. I will also use the coral mat to line the table to prevent my things – brushes, lipsticks, etc. from slipping/rolling. I also got new food bowls for my cats which are not pictured here. I was originally planning to buy the Gommage scrub from Etude House but got carried away when I saw their new nail products. Good thing I was able to go back only to find out that the Gommage scrub has been out of stock for quite some time now. After lunch, we went to H&M to look for clothes for my son but didn't find any in his size. On the way back to Greenbelt, we stopped by Ayala Museum's free section. They were having an exhibit about water. Well, as far as I can remember, that is. These are both from Paul & Joe, my favorite brand for foundations. As you may already know, the brand pulled out from the PH some time ago, back when I was still pregnant. I was so disappointed when I went to Rustan’s to buy some makeup from them. Fortunately, they had a super sale in Glorietta so I was able to buy my pressed foundation (2nd photo). That’s a liquid foundation in the first photo. My liquid/cream foundations and BB cream stash is down to the last tube so I needed to buy a new one. I thought about stocking up on them but dismissed the thought because they might spoil because the pressed foundation lasts me a year. Will review the liquid foundation in my next post.

 Remember when moms say:  “You’ll feel all those late nights when you’re older.” I never partied until sunrise. I didn’t survive on coffee or late nights. I actually avoided sleep deprivation like the plague. But even with all that, I’ve come to realize that how we care for ourselves in our teens and twenties shapes how we look and feel in our thirties and beyond. Your skin remembers everything — The nights you didn’t remove your makeup properly. The weeks you lived on fast food and instant noodles. It adds up. I’ve watched enough K-dramas to know the line by heart:  “I don’t want to eat instant noodles at night. My face will be puffy tomorrow.” They know. And they’re right. My cousins need makeup. One, for her job and the other, well, she just likes makeup so I decided to give them some of mine. These have served me well and I can see that my cousins  are now enjoying them.

I’ve been out for a while because I’ve been super busy. I’m the only who takes care of my baby during the day. On top of that, I have a ton of work and chores to do.  I’ve also been contemplating for a while if I’m going to let this blog die a natural death by not posting anything but the friendships and connections I made here are priceless. So, I will try to blog as much as I can although there will be some changes. I will probably upload more haul posts and put a bit of commentary on each item I buy. It will be hard for me to write product reviews now but I will try my very best to do so. Anyway, I hope you will still come and visit my blog to get information on products and some shopping tips.
